The BC folks can correct me if necessary.  But it is my understanding that he assumed the AD role before last school year when Cris Stump was removed.

No doubt.  As much as Coach DuBois wanted to return home to Bridge City, I doubt he would have left H-J (where he was HC/AD) absent an assurance that he would be named AD in short order.

Little inside info...Briggs did not want the AD job last year...he took it as a favor basically...his intention was to retire last year from what I was told. He took it with the understanding that it would be a one year deal and then he was on to the pasture. Good luck Coach DuBois alot of expectations on a small time scale IMO.
