The divisions are perfect the way they are. Competition is at its best this way. I think we're seeing that in the games so far this year.

To me, the current setup works well.  At the end of the day, if you have more kids in the school, you are more than likely going to be deeper.  This is even more true when you talk about the elite programs from each classification.

 

Off topic, but I would like to see a Cameron/Newton non-district game in the future.  That would be a good one for Sam Houston.

To me, there are occasions where teams would be down and these types of things would happen.  These teams are usually the best in their area and it's something a lot of people would like to see.  I have also thought about Cameron/Daingerfield.  Cameron did play Refugio this season.

If the UIL could make money out of it, it would happen. Not feasible in the D1/D2 system which adds more teams = $$$.
