Yes indeed Coach Taylor is a terrific coach.
2013 3-7 Record losing to HJ in the playoffs. 2014 2-8 No playoffs. My prediction for the next 5 years for him, because I'm sure he will get an contract extension. 2015 14-1 State Semi Finalist as well as District Champions.

I think you've got to give Taylor 4-5 years to see what he can do with liberty. Takes time to change a culture. Hopefully he's got the board's support.

Unfortunately, Liberty will not do much of anything real soon. Not spending $ any more. Not making improvements. The county seat and still playing on GRASS and has horrible facilities, just as LilTex says. Very disappointing when there's tons of $$$ around town.

I guess somebody is pocketing those funds. Great athletes just need more motivation. That has and still is the story around Liberty. Pretty much every aspect of the town as well.

Why don't Barbers Hill win state? They probably have more money than just about anyone in SETX. Meanwhile, Newton is one of the most impoverished communities in the entire state, but will win at Jerrys world this week.
