This match-up pits the Burkeville Mustangs vs the Bulldogs of Colmesneil. Both teams have had disappointing seasons. But, the winner of this game has a chance to build some momentum for next year. Neither team has a chance to make the play-offs, so they are playing for pride.

 

The only win either team has in district is over Sabine Pass (arguably the worst team in the State of Texas in 2A). It is also both teams only win on the year. These two teams statistically match-up pretty even. Colmesneil has given up 401 points on the season and Burkeville has given up 402. Colmesneil has scored 164 points and Burkeville 135 points. So, they are pretty comparable in that sense.

 

This game is a toss up for me. Whichever team hasn't started thinking about basketball season yet takes this one in my opinion. Who do you got?
