Was it 15 years ago which Woodville beat #10 in Sam Houston Stadium. I thought New Waverly was supposed to win that nite.

I was at that game (EC vs WV). It was good one. EC might have won but they knew they where in a fight.

That was a great game! Woodville was up 21-16 with 2 minutes left to go and EC scored. That was Hank Jones's senior year. Y'all also had a great kicker who wore bright orange soccer cleats lol

Woodville will be under the microscope this game many fans will be watching play calling and will be looking to see improvements in the tackling. this could get ugly if improvements are not made. Kids and coaches need to be taught this is not just a game, and this is not a social event there are high expectations.The Fair is up the road if you want to socialize.

I'll hafta get there early to get my "coaching" spot on the fence. There will be a pretty good size crowd..homecoming and only the 2nd home game of the season for Buna.

This game will only be close if Coach Morgan wants it to be, like the Warren game ,close by 35.Coach Morgan is great guy and has been on the other end of those games .He has class and will not run the score up.Woodville is rejuvenated by new coaches and new schemes that's not always compared to Corrigan.(Thanks,Coach Waldie) Buna is too big,strong
and their offensive scheme is very good. Woodville will have a hard time slowing down Buna's running game. Keep working Woodville , Buna by 28
