texas13 Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 Were all those starters out against Shepherd? Or is Shepherd just that good? Or is there not much difference between starters and backups? Kountze is putting up 40+ points with starters out maybe they should stay out.Shepherd is the real deal. Quote
oldschool2 Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 Shepherd is the real deal. Huffman must be loaded then. Quote
texas13 Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 Huffman must be loaded then.yes they must be. And they happen to ranked in 4a division 1 in polls. Quote
oldschool2 Posted September 22, 2014 Report Posted September 22, 2014 yes they must be. And they happen to ranked in 4a division 1 in polls. I was being serious. And on another note..Kashmere played Huffman to within 7. Region 3 may not be as powderpuff as WOS and HJ think. Quote

Or maybe we could put up more and stop a few with key players back in...??? Against Shepherd we were down 3 and lost 4 during...ie...went into HJ - 7 down and lost another. Quote
IT'S IN THE BONE Posted September 23, 2014 Report Posted September 23, 2014 Corrigan-Camden's defense is average compared to their offense lol compared to other defenses around, they're above average. Their secondary is suspect, which is why Kountze gained so many yards through the air. But I would venture to say their defense is much better than Kountze's defense as a whole. And injuries are a part of the game. Stop using them as evidence to support your argument. When you lose, people who are not fans supporting your team are often going to bet against you. Only thing you can do is shut your mouth, let the words slip off your back, and say I told you so when you prove them wrong. Kountze will be fine. I've said many times that they're a good football team with great coaches. Hey bro I agree I was just clarifying what seemed to be mis- information... I already owned and said injuries are part of the game and we got whooped! Eagles, when it comes to the coaches and players the predictions and magic 8 ball fortune telling isn't worth A velvet painting of a whale and a dolphins getting it on...LOL..."Ricky Bobby"...Friday night will roll around and it will be what it will be. Kville1968 Posted September 23, 2014 Report Posted September 23, 2014 With all due respect it seems like Kountze biggest issue might be the injury problem. The Cats linemen don't mess around and the D has more than a few hard hitters. Diggles, Rawls, Breed just to name a few. Although its part of football it seems extreme having 6 - 10 players hurt at a time. And the fact that every last one of them are somehow healthy at the same time (just in time for district play) seems nothing short of miraculous. I hope all of these Lions are really ready to play and this is a injury free game for all. You can be sure the Kville D is going to be fired up. Quote
kcat-fan Posted September 23, 2014 Report Posted September 23, 2014 Kountze is trying to get healthy while traveling to the Wildcats stadium, where the KATS have had a bye week to focus on the Lions. The KATS will be looking to make a statement @ the start of district. Anything can happen on any given Friday, but I think Neece has em' clicking on Offense, and the Defense will be applying some serious pressure. Quote

I know. I was just sayin lol injuries are why they are. They aren't going away. Just gotta deal with them. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted September 23, 2014 Report Posted September 23, 2014 Like I stated earlier, I believe Kirbyville is better than CC based on what I have seen with my own eyes this season. CC put 74 on a "injury ravaged" Kountze team. ;) Kirbyville may not score 74, but I see them scoring 45+ in this game. The Wildcat defense is much better than CC's. Kountze 18 Kville 52 Quote

The hope is we are all back, but may still have a couple out. Tailback was out Friday sick... had one receiver/CB out with a hip issue...QB out with a suspect Hand and or wrist...another back / saftey out with a shoulder...LB out with a foot issue...OL/DT out with knee...another receiver/back/CB out with shoulder....all these guys are back in practice. Time will tell on a few others Quote

Kountze 18 Kville 52 WHY THE LITTLE YELLOW WINKING FACE AAW????? CC would have still won because our DL was giving up realstate like the city of Detroit! I just think we may have scored a couple of more TD's...we have to fix defensive issue to out score Kville Quote
IT'S IN THE BONE Posted September 23, 2014 Report Posted September 23, 2014 Been thinking...maybe its just best to thrown in the towel friday night, why play the game at all. Lets just play the game out right here! Quote

IT'S IN THE BONE Posted September 23, 2014 Report Posted September 23, 2014 save us a few moral victories Hey D-20...we could be Kville's guard and tackle...guard the water bucket and tackle any who tampers with it! On second thought, we might get hurt...pull a hammy or something! Lets just take the last film and edit and not even show up...I know it was a beat down, but that way we dont even have to change the score...just edit the uniforms! On second thought, might hurt the ole' index finger or even carpal tunnel syndrome! Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted September 23, 2014 Report Posted September 23, 2014 You Kountze folks are beginning to act like some folks I know to the southwest of Kountze along Hwy 326. ;) :D SteelerCzy and CraigS 2 Quote

IT'S IN THE BONE Posted September 24, 2014 Report Posted September 24, 2014 Unbelievable...1st week had to be Kirbyville! Quote
Woodshed Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 This may have already been posted but I thought this was a good CC highlight reel from the Kountze game. Those RB's are quick! http://youtu.be/B_K1RHeCMps Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 Three things I got from those highlights: 1. Those CC RB's are good. 2. Bulldog O-line dominated Kountze defensive front 3. Lion LB's and DB's are pretty poor tacklers. Quote
texas13 Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 What I was reassured from that was, we can't tackle or handle a cut block Quote
IT'S IN THE BONE Posted September 25, 2014 Report Posted September 25, 2014 Wow here's what I took from that video clip! Question: why feel it neccessary to post a video clip of Kountze and CC on a Kountze and Kirbyville thread???? Answer: loves to be that guy that runs by and takes a free kick while somebody is down! If you wanted high light something do it under the Kountze / CC thread or maybe a new thread??? Question: why AAW finds it neccessary to take his jabs...or pile on???? I mean, come on, you have already it clear! Answer: NOT REAL SURE! But thanks anyway. Quote
