Looks like 21-5A is shaping up to be one of the most dominate districts in the state.

Next week it starts boys. So strap them chin straps tight and get ready. Oh and to all them haters looks like there's a force to be reckoned with in Crosby with this shutdown defense. So move over Seattle Seahawks legion of doom cause here comes the new sheriff in town the crosby Legion of the COOG. Peace out and safe travels.

I still think Fort Bend's district is the toughest in the state with the region 2 district that Lufkin is in coming second. This is definitely a district to be reckoned with though. After non-district I would go

1. Crosby

2. Dayton/King

3. King/Dayton

4. KP/BH

5. BH/KP

I have a feeling it could be playoff time before Crosby drops a game

C.E. King has scored 125 points and has over 1400 yards of total offense after 2 non-district games. There will be a good team at the house from 21-5A this year. Should be a good one in Bronco stadium next week.

Thread is comical. Toughest 5A district the one with Lufkin, Ennis and all those guys, its not even close, there is no New Caney ISD type squads in that district.

True Buddy but you can only play who you are supposed to play. Yes the current Ennis coach was the coach at Kirbyville when he rode my little cousin for 3 years. He was smart to jump ship when he did and has brought Ennis back to what they use to be.

With (#7)Brenham's shocking loss and (#8)Crosby's win over (#6)Angleton, the Cougars will be ranked 6th when the new area AP polls come out. How's that for a stat?lol Rankings never mean much but I think it proves what I've been saying. The 5 schools ranked ahead of Crosby are all in FB County. If someone from the bi-district can get through these teams there is potential very deep run to be made. Maybe even to the dance.

Shouldn't you be studying for a "PreCal" test or something? Maybe cleaning your room?

This is absolutely amazing. I guess we have a new movement to take the top spot of delusional fan base away from HD Nation. What a joke!

    • What the writer stated wrt crossover votes in the primary/runoff: "Covey and his supporters Paxton and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said Phelan only won because Democrats crossed over to vote in the Republican Primary for him. Paxton said Covey’s campaign identified “at least” 1,442 Democrats who voted early in Jefferson County in the primary runoff. Texas does not have party registration, but a voter’s primary voting history is public. The Covey campaign has not released its methodology behind its claim, but  This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up  by The Texan news website found that 9% of Republican voters in the March District 21 primary had voted in one of the previous four Democratic primaries. However, only 5% of that group had voted in all four previous Democratic primaries. What Phelan’s opponents did not mention is historically Democratic Jefferson County is undergoing a political transition towards the Republican party — the county judge switched his affiliation to the GOP in 2017 — so many residents have a mixed primary voting history. And Phelan’s allies in the House dismissed the idea that liberals swung the election. "I knocked on doors, hundreds and hundreds of doors, made calls for Dade,” Republican Rep. Jeff Leach, R-Plano, said on Mark Davis’ radio program Wednesday. “I did not speak to a single Democrat down here in HD21. Not a single one." "
