2014 Dayton Broncos district placing and playoffs

What place do u think they will finish in district and how far in the playoffs will they go?

1st place, Regional Final versus Brenham or Central. (Depending on bracket)

Central definitely goes D1 and I'm thinking Elkins should be D1 also the only school smaller than Dayton in district is BH...but to answer the ? I Dayton will be #1

Dayton should be #1 seed for D2 representing 21-5a, matching up with PNG in the first round (I expect) and win that one handily. In the second round against either Texas City or Marshall (maybe Ridge Point, depending on what Bush has coming back), I expect a close win out of Dayton. In the third round I see them losing to Brenham, who I expect to win the region in D2.

Dayton should win district but I still think they are a year way from making a deep playoff run. Had a ton of sophomores starting last year and even brought up a freshman offensive lineman who started the last couple of games. Turnovers no running game and not being able to stop any body from running hurt dayton last year. Lots to work on but should have a good team.

If Nederland goes D1 then yes, I'd would expect PNG to be #1 seed in D2. However, I see Central and GCM getting the 3rd and 4th playoff spots respectively, which would put Nederland in D2. Nederland's enrollment is less than Central, isn't it?

Yes, Central and GCM have a higher enrollment.  Lee has less.

I dont think GCM gets in, unless they somehow find a way to beat the puppies, but I dont see that happening.

Out of Ozen, Vidor, Lee, and Lumberton, who is better than GCM? I mean sure, they got their teeth kicked in by the 24-4a elite plus Nederland the last two years, but they played well other than that.

Y'all had a young team with some injuries. You got some experience, got heathy, and a little help to get in. Had the eventual state runner up on the ropes. Should be a really good year if you're a Bronco fan.

shoot week 9 took a 4th and goal to beat a weak bh team with a couple seconds left. Dayton was their own worst enemy last year. I do think that this year will be another district championship for the Bronx.

Dayton will probably be 1st in district. High school football can be crazy though, so they could get second.

Central isnt going to lay an egg versus GCM, for GCM to make the playoffs they will need to beat 1 or both Mid-county schools (assuming Ozen handles business)
