I also heard a rumor that even though Kevin Shorter signed a letter of intent, his career is probably over due to a spinal cord bruise. Can anyone validate that?

I don't even think that the UT staff knows. ESPN did a piece on him and a kid from Dallas who got hurt and Texas A&M is honoring his scholarship as well.

I read some where that he can attend on some sort of medical scholarship that will not count against the athletic count. Just glad to see UT and ATM stand by two kids who where committed early, but hit by carrier ending injuries beyond their control, stand by their word and find a way to honor these kids offers.

Says a lot about those two programs.  You probably saw what happened to the kid that committed to FAMU and they pulled scholarship the night before NSD.  That aint right.
