TVC....... He was shot in the back......twice......while running unarmed......I get why it was done, and I agree with it......BUT I didn't think a cop could shoot an unarmed man in the back running away......He was obviously not in fear of his life....was it because he escaped?

Good post....... As a Republican, I wish more of us would discuss an issue without bringing up something the left does as justification. The RIGHT is not always right.....we get things wrong. I personally think we stood too firm on Gay rights, but I think we caved on the Confederate flag..... The point is, we are continually ARGUING with the other side, which gets us no where.......we need to be DISCUSSING things......and trying to understand the other sides view.....don't have to agree, just need to understand

​The problem I had Buddy, at least in PA Politics was the justification of Black Racist or racism by referring to the past and Jim Crow and somehow thinking White people miss those years. I'm the poster child of a normal white guy. I work, I have a kid, I fish and hunt, I should go to Church more, etc. I hang around people like me as well as of other races. None of my white friends wish anything of the sort. They do not sit around and plot how to be a racist or do bad things. I guess I just don't understand why someone would think that way......

I was a member of the Facebook page PA Politics-Keeping it real.......I just removed myself from that group. Typically the discussions were about the black - white issues in current events.....Some of the people would participate in a constructive debate, while others would continually put Race before logic......Today was the final straw..... [Hidden Content] Out of that entire group, there was only one that condemned "FINISH THE MISSION, KILL SLAVE MASTERS". The rest brought up Slavery, the racist flag and Jim Crow. They were making excuses for this hate talk. I can't tell you the anger I felt..... I found out there was a HUGE difference between me and them......and it wasn't color......it was I condemn ALL Hate....I don't ignore or give a pass to some groups like they gave a pass to this idiot. Now.....they can continue to look at the past and make excuses for where they are at today, It's a free country(at least for awhile) and if they want to cry in their past, that is their choice.....But the group PA Politics and their city is crumbling around them because they can't do anything about the present or the future because they are too busy crying about the past.....a very dead end group and a bunch of racist..... I feel better.......

I also don't think of the battle flag as racist......Some will use the KKK of using the flag......but they used the American Flag as well......and slavery was in America, so why don't we ban that one......but to believe all that you have to believe that the Civil War was not about slavery........

Well, it appears Evadale ISD will not take down it's battle flag and I'm excited they actually stood up and didn't cave to weak minded individuals. I get not having the flag on a states building, which the one in South Carolina was moved in 2000 and flown with a Civil War memorial......they are now going to take that down. If you are going to stand for a cause, at the very minimum you should know the TRUE history of what it represents.....and too many people do not. For those associating the Battle Flag with the KKK, the Battle flags started in 1861.....The KKK started in 1865, plus you can find pictures of the American Flag and The Battle Flag with KKK groups, so one is not more relevant than the other....and besides all that, a piece of fabric did not start racism or kill those people in the church.....people did..... Again.....I praise Evadale ISD for standing up for their beliefs and traditions. The end

I think fair housing is a good law. If you want to move anywhere you want and can afford it, go for it. I live in a 1700 SQ FT house.....I am not complaining that I can't live in a 5000 SQ FT house in Stone Gate......I could not afford that house and do all the things I like to do.....

Let's talk about Mass shootings like this one....There has been 78 mass shootings from 1983 to 2012 claiming 547 lives. That would be about 19 deaths a year....... Suicides with guns, 19,392 in 2010 are more common that homicides at 11,078...... Blacks are about 5% of the gun suicides, so roughly 970 black lives are lost by suicide......

​ Again, I agree.....I liked Rick Perry.....He may have made a critical mistake last election and never recover. I'm all about less government.....I guess I'm just wore down from seeing 90% of this thread criticizing Obama for 7 years....I was all in first and 4th year, but there comes a time to move on..... This is all my opinion and I honestly don't disagree with anything you have said. I'm just ready for the next phase of politics....

And if your right that a Republican won"t get elected if he runs on the constitution, bashing Obama will not change that. It's always better to promote YOUR agenda versus condemning the other party. When I buy a car, I want to know why I should buy YOUR car....not why I shouldn't buy from your competition. I personally am researching our choices and figuring out who I think will be best for the country. When it gets down to a few people from each party, then I will debate the negatives of the democratic party.....but for now, IMO it is a waste of time to bash Obama for something he did before politics.......
