I have not either - I'm taking the words of the writers of the bill versus the opposition. I may read it once it is final - 1000 pages is a pretty good investment in time lol

I think what you are missing is if Doctors, illegals and people who fraud the system are addressed, there would be no need for the same budget. The bill does not decrease funding for everyone..... Lastly, you are criticizing this bill based on Media coverage - my guess the same media that told you he was running circles around 20 year old's......or that Trump was a Russian asset..... I posted the entire bill - which my guess, like Obamacare, no one has read......

So, if that is stopped by this bill that would be a cut/savings - waste, fraud and abuse……. looks like you support the bill….unless you support doctors abusing the system

Yup - my insurance is out of pocket until I reach 2K deductible(which is not great, but company does put money in HSA) - Quick Clinic charges me almost $400 depending on what bloodwork and test they do for for a normal I'm sick and running fever visit....$200.00 cash including everything if I self pay...... Obamacare really screwed up the medical insurance....before him, I was golden

1. Doctors have accepted Medicaid since 1982. Why do people have to be instructed to call a doctor when they are sick versus going to the ER. You don't need a HS diploma to figure out what to do if you are sick. 2. Maybe they got an income tax return to by a tv? Rent to own in making weekly payments, no one buys a TV from a rent to own place.....they are 25-30% higher than a retail store. I do have a nice things and toys. I earned them and worked hard for it with no college degree. Only millionaires can afford medical care without insurance....because a 3 day stay in the hospital could cost 300K......because those prices are jacked up to make up for the uninsured. What you are saying indirectly is not everyone is equal......I think everyone is equal, it's just bad decisions that separate us. I am not including folks with learning or physical disabilities. They need our help.

@AggiesAreWe - If I thought for a minute this bill would deprive anyone with TRUE disabilities of benefits, I would be totally against this bill. Until it is proven different, I'm taking them at their word it is for waste, fraud and abuse. On a similar topic ( @Big girl listen close) - In my younger days I worked in EMS for 8 years, then after that I ran 2 different rent to own companies. In EMS, the "sick calls" when people call ambulances to claim they are sick (or may have a cold) to basically get a taxi ride across town was almost daily. 99.9% had no insurance. It was a loss for the ambulance company and hospital. If they had Medicaid, they were using an expensive emergency room for what could of been a Doctor visit at far less money. Hospitals do not turn sick people away like some of the left want you to believe. Rent to own - I worked for Rent A Center (hated that place btw) - 75-80% of our customers were on SSI or some type of government housing. They spent a significant amount of their money on Big Screen TV's and furniture. Some would furnish their entire section 8 apartment with rental furniture. I remember some paying 75-100 a week back in 1990.....$400 a month back then would of financed a Corvette.... Yet they needed housing assistance/food stamps?? Also, we were in the same parking lot as the food stamp office. There would be 100's of people selling their food stamps for 50 cents on the dollar.... That was back when there was no internet or ways to electronically scam the government.......Can you imagine now? So, I am for cutting waste, fraud and abuse........

I doubled checked with a good friend of mine who is a NP (and has his Doctorate) said there was zero chance this just popped up in the last 12 months - he said it was either complete incompetence or a cover up. He has had the best medical insurance for years, and you KNOW he had routine at least yearly exams and blood work. If it was not for the cover up of his mental well being, this would of possibly went under the radar. When you add the mental issues, and now the medical issues, this is going down as one of the biggest scandals in American history.....IMO

If I rented a beach cabin or even more realistic driving down there to play a gig ( I actually have one at the Gulf Range July 12th) and was arrested for a taillight out or not using my blinker, I would be outraged. I get they needed to do something, but I think this was a bit much and will effect future beach rentals. I have a FB friend who rented a cabin months ago and had beachfront access but could not use the beach.....all sorts of problems this weekend.

It was not targeting the jeepers IMO - it was targeting everyone......and I looked at the arrest mugshots on Galveston County page....NONE of those folks looked like Jeepers,,,,,and they were arresting folks for no seat belts, brake lights out and cracked windshields.....among other more serious crimes

There were more than 400 officers used this weekend on the Bolivar Peninsula, not counting EMS, the paddy wagons, etc..... They had check points at both ends of the peninsula, checking every vehicle for any traffic violation. I imagine that is costing Galveston County a pretty good chunk of change. I doubt the revenue from the tickets will put a dent in it. They sure sent a message. I'm a law abiding citizen for the most part. I always have a valid ID, well maintained vehicle and proper insurance. I do speed occasionally, understanding the risk and knowing I may receive a ticket. However, when I go to the beach for relaxation, I don't want to wait in line 1 to 2 hours to basically prove I'm doing nothing wrong....or get a ticket because I didn't realize a license plate light was out...... There were 275 arrest........52 were felony charges, the rest misdemeanors..... I would like to see the number of "warnings" they gave....my guess, not many if any at all. I totally back the blue, always have, but I feel this was an over the top response to trying to fix a problem. [Hidden Content]
