  1. I watched the Hudl highlights on laportes page. GCM was just so out of position on defense. Time after time they let them get to the edge when it didn't have to happen. GCM lost to Galena Park so there was no way they were beating LP.
  2. Goose Creek, Crosby and LaPorte are all down about where one would expect on the school rankings. I took a quick look at BH vs GC. GC is 72% economically disadvantaged and 20% low English proficiency. BH is 23% and 2% A quick glance at LP and Crosby show similar though a bit lower than GC. I would imagine you could look at just those percentages across the state and rank them in that way and get close to what the rankings actually are.
  3. On the statewide list, Barbers Hill is between Friendswood and Pearland. So, between 3 and 4 on the greater Houston list if included.
  4. Looks like Lee got beat by Fulshear. Hopefully GCM can beat them.
  5. Lee plays Fulshear tonight I believe to see who gets GCM next. Let's go Ganders.
  6. Whatever site these simulations are from is interesting and all......but 2022 North Shore would beat any WOS team by 100 if they wanted to.
  7. Not all comparisons are made equal. NS was up on Woodlands 42-7 at half and Westfield 48-11 at the half. They could have won each of those games by 65 had they wanted. Duncanville was up 7-3 at half on the Woodlands and got a bit lucky to hold on against Westfield. North Shore putting it on Westlake was the last piece of the puzzle in my mind. NS by at least 20.
  8. Agreed. If Bailey playing then NS by 40. As it is, NS by 20. Duncanville struggling with Westfield let's me know it's not quite the athletic juggernauts of the past for Duncanville. That's not good for them, because they certainly aren't going to out coach you.
  9. I get it but what I am getting at is that NS is a lot better than Duncanville.
  10. Westfield had two late turnovers in the red zone or they would have won.
  11. Westfield should have by all rights beaten Duncanville last week. North Shore is going to work them over.
  12. More professional? How much you think they're paying these announcers? It's probably the assistant principal's brother in law calling the game after he got off his shift at the lumber yard. Not sure how much professionalism can be demanded.
  13. The reason PAM always has a punchers chance is because they have the best athletes on the field every single time they play. Will be the same against Longview. In fact, I bet there haven't been 10 or 12 games in the history of their school where they haven't had the best athletes on the field.
  14. Not quite the meat grinder we were led to believe but Fulshear did sneak out with a win to advance.
  15. One of which is a few years away from perhaps being a head coach in the NFL.
  16. I am afraid this will be a tough one for PAM, but they can theoretically beat anyone in the state. They can also lose to anyone with a pulse unfortunately.
  17. I was just coming here to post that. I feel pretty good about the prediction all in all.
  18. These two coaches are really trying their best to give each other the game.
  19. Of course not. Coach needs to just let him know that an interception is no different than a three and out and a 20 yard punt. Let the ball loose and don't worry about it.
  20. Coach needs to tell qb at half. Count to 2 and get rid of the ball. Had they only not been offside on the inside kick....probably would be leading now. Need to make one read and throw the ball in the second half. if no one open, throw it in the ground in the vicinity or out of bounds.
