The article gave several possible reasons such as COVID for the low ratings without ever mentioning the knee, boycotts, etc.

As expected, some don't like being called out. I just don't think it's considerate to be broadcasting before the coach has a chance to address his players and coworkers. My opinion is also directed towards Ashley E, the Beaumont Enterprise or any others. However, I know that's just the way things work.

Maybe change that statement from "if" to "when". I'm with @Austin1985, you run a spread offense, it's very likely you will have a bad defense.

I like how those in the media/sports "know" feel the need to break the news before the involved parties choose to do so.

FYI - couple of coworkers called Dequincy La hospital a couple weeks ago, got almost an immediate reply and have already received their first dose. Really simple.

I'll respect your clarification. I agree, coach T needs to stay around as long as he is able. I also agree with considering culture but not necessarily a race culture but a Mustang culture. Coach T kept the Mustang culture going. I think it may be important for the next coach up (whatever race) to be familiar with the Mustang culture to keep it going. Bringing in an outside coach that has not relationship with the history (no matter how good he is) could be risky.

I don't understand the gameplay either. They're missing the starting QB and have the highest paid RB but he only gets 10 - 12 carries per game. I know he's suckin' but run him.

That will be a big question one day that could affect the tradition.

Mustang football is a deep tradition and a culture. The Program does not depend on transfers to succeed. It starts when they are young and continues through HS. Just this week, during the holiday's with the Mustangs out of the playoffs, I was driving down 15th st by the middle school and out in the field was about half a dozen youth, aged twelve or so, running cone drills. (No offense but when's the last time you saw that in BC)The mustangs may not make it to state anytime soon but that type of culture will make them competitive year after year.
