Big Ned, when they get back in their prime will be the fast paced, complicated spread offense they used to be.  Write it down son.

Comparing only to last year’s scrimmage with HF, Nederland looked much improved. Great? Certainly not. Improved? Yes.
Is HF as good as last year? I have no clue.
The passing game was much better considering that most of last year the quarterbacks were overthrowing open receivers, sometimes by 5 yards.
There was some decent playing on the defensive line with quite a few gang tackles.
I “think” in the controlled scrimmage with the first teams, HF had 2 touchdowns and Nederland had 1. On second team control HF had 1-0.
On 2 quarters of game scrimmage with no kickoffs, I believe it was 1-1.
Last year HF looked like world beaters in the same scrimmage. They played pretty even this evening in my opinion.

Nederland needs to sit down and look at its self in the mirror and face reality, truth is none of the guys want to play for a certain  coach (JS) so they quit as we saw last year, mostly senior level players were gone. I think its the same this year, also the coaching (play calling) hasn't been the best. Nederland had talent over the LN era but how many times did we hear the words "the other team is faster and stronger but they are simply getting out coached?" we heard it time after time cause LN was a boss of a coach. That's gone and I feel because MB was under LN for so long the administration felt he was gonna follow in his path and that hasn't been the case.
At some point....the booster and the sponsors who donate are going to want answers and Nederland being a bottom district team isn't gonna fly.  A programs future is only one bad leadership decision away.
That's my two pennies at least

IMO Dak is one of the most overrated and over paid QB’s in the NFL   Correct me if I am wrong but I don’t think they make it to the Super Bowl.

Valid question.  I give it a 50-50 chance.  I will say, now, he’s where he needs to be.
BTW, this pos was a supporter of Aafia Siddiqui, AKA Lady Al Qaeda.  She’s in a Federal Prison in Ft Worth.  Educated at MIT, she was capture in Afghanistan shooting at American Soldiers.  The really scary part, when she was captured she had documents/instructions on how to make a Dirty Bomb and how to weaponize the Ebola virus, plus making of chemical weapons.

These Muslims are dangerous and radical.  Make no mistake, some day they’re going to release a WMD in the United States.  And as we allow more of them into the US, we only add to the problem.  It’s analogous to letting snakes into your house.  Many are non-poisonous, but some deadly ones will inevitably come in.

It seems to me that the dogs defense has shown a tendency to get better as the game goes on and after that one personal foul late in the game, I think it just pissed the defense off because they just jacked their intensity up another notch.

Way more kids died from the Flu this past season than the Covid-19, and way more adults have died from Covid-19 in the ages 65 and above and with underlying conditions for the most part.  Now the vast (not all)  amount of teachers are well under 65 years of age.  So in my opinion we just need to open the schools and quit living in fear that some politicians and a lot of the media are shoving down our throats.

Nederland has played WOS as a non district opponent more than any other team in the last 25 years or so, and we were in the same district for awhile. and when they were not on our schedule we were scrimmaging them, I think it helped make us better in the long run, and there certainly was no shame losing to the Mustangs

I don't think the big win over PN-G (I don't think it was an upset) will slow the dogs any, I think they are just starting to hit their stride.

You know Pak memorial has never played in Nederland but evidently some of your past teams have and must not have come out too good, thus you throw out crooked refs to use as an excuse right, if the titans are as good as you say you wouldn't have to, just so you know we don't pick refs they are done by mutual agreement of the coaches.
