It's a durn good thing our assessments don't matter. This kind of reminds me of a kid from Dayton a few years ago. He started on D, but was not somebody who stood out on film. He was too skinny they said, not physical enough. Didn't lead the team in tackles, wasn't the "play-maker" in the coaches or community eyes. However, an SEC school offered him a full-ride. Like, how does that happen? I've been around this game for close to 4o years and that was a first for me. I think the kid ended up transferring to get more Playing time, but nevertheless, what do college recruiters/coaches see that highschool coaches / the critics and community sometimes do not?

Game 1 , is now just 30 minutes from first pitch. (12pm)
Game 2 will be at 6:00 pm tonight.
Game 3 will be played at Mumford HS, on Saturday if needed. Not sure what time?

Joubert would be a great fit, but won't leave Kountze. Even though, if he left, half the kids would go with him.
And it would probably be a pay cut, so that won't work.

Should be competitive. Lost our middle, to barbers hill. 5/6 returning starters and a few key under classmen should contribute well. Year two in a new system with an excellent coach, so I am excited to see what the girls can do.
