FYI this had nothing to do with any type of recruiting violation from the NS program. This had everything to do with a disgruntled coach who has recruited kids from NS in the past & got in his feelings when he THOUGHT a coach from NS was trying to return the favor.
There won’t be any penalties handed to NS from this situation.

Ever seen? PA Lincoln's James Gamble says hello. Coach Gamble had two All-Americans...Earl Evans (1973) and Anthony Allen (1986). I think both won the Mr. Texas basketball award or whatever it was called in the seventies and eighties. Evans went to UNLV and Allen to Georgetown. Neither one had the NBA career that Boutte's Kendrick Perkins had, though. Toss up between Coach Gamble and Coach Boutte, but I'm a slight lean for Coach Gamble...I'm old.
Not mad at that…I think he’s the only guy that can even be in the convo.

He said congrats PNG and he said TY PNG for bringing it back to Houston. I know we arent Houston, but this man warmed my heart. By the way the ring was from his grandson who was a freshman on the 2021 team and let his grandfather wear his ring to the game. He was such a gracious and sweet man. He was very proud of his grandson who was starting in the game. I was heartbroken for him when I heard the score. He was so kind. He was so proud that a team from our area won and his words "way to represent". NS is a great school.
Probably Devin Sanchez’s grandfather…I seen a bunch of PNG folks in the parking lot of AT&T and congratulated them.

Not at all…because I said had DV been at full strength they’d beat Desoto. They never played them at full strength so that hypothetical is still up in the air.

Disagree…SLC almost beat them and DV would’ve beat them had they not been missing two key players.

I could be wrong but he’ll probably get a slap on the wrist. The guy & his wife owns a recruiting service that helps kids get exposure from colleges. His wife is the director of recruiting at HBU & had the same title at Crosby before recently. He reached out to the kid from Dekaney (and several others from many different schools) in regards to signing up for services with his company.
Situation got over blown by a jealous coach who recruited a player away from NS to Dekaney (Davion Wilson who finished his HS career at PA Memorial) he got called out for recruiting the kid & now this was chance to attempt & return the favor I'm assuming.
