Yep. Must be feeling pretty confident, though. -
What's the score?

It's on but you may have to reload a couple times.

Someone at the game has reported that CB is on the field, watching the warm-ups in a knee brace, no crutches. Also, Coach J. was on the local evening news I think yesterday, and said simply that Conner would be sitting this one out tonight. So there's that.

What post is this in reference to?

The refs were flagging both teams, but watching on TL or whatever, the camera isn't always on the extra side action going on, so I can't say what happened every time. The refs were in a sort of confusion, throwing flags then waving them off, then throwing the flag again. The announcers kept blaming the rain delay, amusingly, saying that it caused "animosity". As far as body slamming, the MP RB, or at least one, was sort of small, and the SOC defenders repeatedly would tackle him by just lifting him up into the air, but i didn't see them body slam, and didn't see the one in question. On the one of the extra points the announcers claimed that 2 or 3 players from both teams were flagged, so offsetting penalties, however the consequence is if any of them got another USC then they would be out of the game. Tough game overall, and I don't think that MP was ready for that type of intensity. If Huntsville gets to play SOC, then it will surely be interesting, IMO, just based on what I saw of Huntsville at PNG this season.
-
They have a good defense but it's hard to keep it up when there's holding and clipping going on. The refs threw the flags for a while, then seemed to back off a little. There were multiple USC flags even on extra point kicks. SOC is tough to beat for sure. Lots of speed and talent. The QB doesn't need to be all that accurate, with the receivers they have.
-
I'm still a bit surprised that MP beat Montgomery. (It didn't surprise me at all, though, that Huntsville beat Marshall.)
-
Lots of flags. SOC pretty much holds on every play.
-
End of 1st Qtr, SOC 3, MP 7. A few USC penalties on SOC already. SOC had 10 total yards 1st qtr. Lots of flags.
-
This will be an interesting game.

+ 1 on this. Ashworth has had some varsity playing time including 2nd half last week, and will do well.

I was saying the same thing somewhere here on another thread. At the time I posted the closest score of all of the games was a 15 point spread, and I think there were 2 of them. Pretty much all others were lopsided, until last night we did see some closer ones. But the district champs playing #4s generally are just games where someone gets injured, such as PNG's QB #9 and the defensive lineman, #99, last night. Why they were in with the score 0 - 31 ? Coach Joseph generally lets the starters play the 1st half at least, and there was just over a minute left in the half. But I guess I'm digressing. Too bad for the fighting, that's a shame. They wouldn't be playing for many other coaches around here. -
That's gotta be some kind of record, and not only a Hardin school record.
-
Against PNG last week, Dayton only punted once I believe, regardless of yards to go or field position. As the game went on PNG started going for it on 4th downs also, just the same. Weird game. But anyway, I get the gist of what you're saying about Hardin, and say good deal, and good luck, going forward. They're a tough team.

I was thinking Huntsville, just reviewing the stats. Plus I think they had all their starters, I think I saw somewhere. Anyway it was a good win for them.

Nacogdoches 7 vs Port Neches-Groves 48 — Final

I'm trying to see how it works. Actually, though, I've wondered why NDN Press doesn't charge for viewing their regular season broadcasts; at the same cost as buying a ticket for attending an event at the stadium, or gym or whatever. -

The Ennis game is on YouTube reportedly, and others as well, so PNG should go ahead and broadcast? Everyone else is ignoring the so-called ban. -
