  1. I'm trying to see how it works. Actually, though, I've wondered why NDN Press doesn't charge for viewing their regular season broadcasts; at the same cost as buying a ticket for attending an event at the stadium, or gym or whatever.
  2. The Ennis game is on YouTube reportedly, and others as well, so PNG should go ahead and broadcast? Everyone else is ignoring the so-called ban.
  3. Reportedly both. Prayers for Bailey, regardless. It didn't look good when he was helped off the field. I didn't see what happened exactly, if he got hit or just went down on a turn or something. Edit ... on another site they're saying it was a late hit on Bailey, after a pass.
  4. #18 Ashworth, a soph.
  5. This appears to be the closest game of the night, (of the games posted on this site), with a 15 point difference the final score. A reflection of the current playoff system, 4th place teams playing district champs? We'll see if there aren't any "upsets" tonight.
  6. In the pick-em thread there are 15 votes for Marshall, and 7 votes for Huntsville. I'm still leaning toward Huntsville, but I guess we'll see what happens tomorrow night.
  7. 1. Atascocita at Dickinson 2. Deer Park at North Shore 3. CE King at Clear Falls 4. Clear Springs at Summer Creek 5. Beaumont United at Houston Madison 6. College Station at Angleton 7. Crosby at A&M Consolidated 8. Pflugerville Weiss at La Porte 9. Huntsville at Marshall 10. Lake Creek at Texas High 11. Mount Pleasant at Montgomery 12. Nacogdoches at Port Neches-Groves 13. Tyler Chapel Hill at Bridge City 14. Huffman at Lindale 15. Little Cypress-Mauriceville at Kilgore 16. Pine Tree at Lumberton 17. Hamshire-Fannett vs LaMarque 18. Shepherd vs West Columbia 19. East Chambers vs Palestine Westwood 20. Hardin vs Crockett 21. Orangefield vs Diboll 22. Kountze vs Arp 23. Joaquin vs Centerville 24. San Augustine vs Groveton 25. Chester vs Coolidge
  8. To finish the season ranked in the top 10 in the state is a very nice accomplishment for all of the teams that made it. Now it's one game at a time, either win or go home and hang the gear up 'til next season.
  9. That's about 29% more passing than a few years ago, with not too too much exaggeration. Every now and then they'll break one free for a long gain. Their half time show was interesting though as I recall, for whatever that's worth, as well as the student section sitting next to the band, which is typically pretty good. Hope for no injuries.
  10. You're very probably right. Wharton has improved in the last few seasons but not that improved.
  11. This could be a close game, but I'll go with SIlsbee. Sweeny, Bay City, Wharton, El Campo used to be a pretty good football area. West Columbia too.
  12. Jimmy.
  13. LP in a close game; hopefully no untimely penalties or mistakes.
  14. Horns, by a TD, maybe 2.
  15. RoughneckGuy been watching too many Seinfeld reruns, thinks 1970.
  16. It was an odd sort of game; more like a scrimmage. There were perhaps 3 punts the entire game, all other 4th downs were just another down, regardless of field position. Dayton's promising season fell apart on them, but their young QB and running back (#33 is reportedly a freshman) look pretty good. Dayton's HC apparently got a little frustrated, but their play calling was very good, as mentioned already on here, especially the first half. They ran a lot of time off the clock, even if they didn't score.
  17. Thanks. (I'm out of likes.)
  18. Yeah that's what I'm thinking too. BTW, folks on another site are saying that the Dayton coach got in a PNG players' face for pancaking one of their LBs. That must have the penalty I missed right there at the end of the 1st half.
  19. How did PNG get the ball back after the failed 4th down run? (At the end of the 1st half, before the last Jackson TD.)
  20. Ssllllopppy game, regardless of the score.
  21. They did run the clock down though. They should just run QB draws all night. Sloppy game.
