  1. No tickets this year; it'll have to be Texan Live or NDN Press. Unless I run across some on FB or somewhere.
  2. I'm just already ready to get the MCM game over with.
  3. Last night's game against West Fork was the trap game, if any.
  4. In District 8 5A-2, next week's game between West Fork and Montgomery should be interesting. IMO West Fork has been sort of the surprise in a good way, along with Huntsville in a disappointing way. If Mont wins next week then it'll come down to the next week's match up between them and PNG, presuming PNG takes care of business for MCM. The 3rd and 4th spots may come down to the final reg season games.
  5. If PNG wins, it's just meh; if they lose it's a slap in the face. Ned has nothing to lose, and everything to gain. Expect offensive trickery, defensive stunts, and never give up attitude. A fumble here, an interception there, a blocked punt, a bad (or good) penalty call or two, and you never know. Like 2 brothers, (or 2 sisters), 1 year apart in age, in a fight. You never know. Otherwise, if it was any other game, PNG wins easily.
  6. It's a good thing; the receivers are having a difficult time catching the ball.
  7. Hopefully this was a short game. BTW the score reminds me of the 1946 PNG vs Nederland game. My 95-y.o. father in law lives with us now and he tells us about it each year. PNG kicked off, my FIL hit the Ned. ball carrier, he fumbled, PNG covered and scored on the first play from scrimmage, and went on to win 72 - 0. Or maybe 71 - 0.
  8. Yeah, right. How many times have we seen this prediction for this game. And speaking of game, the Bulldogs have plenty of GAME, I'll give them that. Both the offense and defense.
  9. A little pay-back going on, from last season. Nederland has some injuries, yes, but LC has been improving each week I think.
  10. Another drop. Good thing on this one though, unnecessary roughness call gives them a first down anyway.
  11. Yet another dropped pass, to bring up 4th down. I'm losing count, and this is ridiculous.
  12. Another dropped TD pass. The QB couldn't have run up and put into his hands any better.
  13. #6 for the Indians went out early holding his arm.
  14. Sometimes the Indians look like a top 10 team; sometimes they don't. Especially when the receivers drop all the passes thrown to them.
  15. I didn't watch past the first half. Lot's of just bad tackling and poor technique, even when in position, by KP defense. At least several times I saw the defender beat the block but miss the tackle. I can't recall any specifics re the KP offense. But still a good game by the Angleton team, for sure. WRT the coaching, IMO, if you're up by 30 or more then everyone available should be getting into the game, even if not all at the same time.
  16. Is the stream on TL for this game having trouble for anyone else?
  17. Angleton too much for KP I'm afraid.
  18. Angleton and KP tonight. Friday PNG and West Fork, while keeping tabs on Nederland and MLC, and PAM vs BWB, Sat I may go see Lamar if I don't think it'll jinx them.
  19. This may be about right. But really this game IMO is about as unpredictable as they come. We'll see.
  20. I've already said this either here or the PNG site, but they had PNG down in the first half, and intercepted a pass with over a minute remaining in the half at about the 30 or so yl, and just sat on it and ran out the clock. Then the second half they looked like a different team. (Not that I was disappointed or anything.). Confusion, hikes over the qb's head, penalties. They finally got it together with a couple minutes left in the game. All in all though I was very surprised by the Montgomery game.
