Keep hoping and wishing… just cause Crosby got taken to the shed don’t mean PAM will

Made it back to PA from Lufkin while ago.  Thinking about the team and the game on the way back.  PA is solid.  They made the stops when they had to and the offense scored when it really mattered.  They never quit.  They showed fight, character, the will to want to win.  Mission accomplished..this week anyhow.  On to the next one.  As long as they continue to believe and play their hearts out like tonight.  No telling what can happen.  One week at a time.  Great TEAM WIN tonight though!  Coaches, offense, defense, special teams.  The kicker had some pressured extra points. He pulled through. 

This is where the road ends. Great season for PAM this year. 

I was at Abe last night.  Those kids showed all kinds of heart staying in the game with Wakeland.  I just so much emotional capital was spent last night that they may get blown out next week.

The reason PAM always has a punchers chance is because they have the best athletes on the field every single time they play. Will be the same against Longview. In fact, I bet there haven't been 10 or 12 games in the history of their school where they haven't had the best athletes on the field.

You can start with eliminating anyone who's running on a "the election was stolen" mantra.  Of course, that's most of the candidates Trump has endorsed.  Do I really need to discuss why Herschel Walker and Mehmet Oz were poor choices?  A decent candidate in Pennsylvania would've been a cakewalk over the human potato, and the same goes in Georgia.  The fact that Walker made it to a runoff with all of the information that has come out about him shows just how easily a real candidate could've won that race against Warnock.  This pattern holds true in several other crucial races that the republicans lost.  Kari Lake is another terrible candidate.  From Republican to Independent to Democrat, and then back to Republican, going with whatever ship can take her the farthest.  Being "pretty hot for a politician" and willing to tout Trump's wildest claims clearly wasn't enough to make her a good candidate.  I guess we'll see how that race pans out, but it's not looking great.

How bad would a republican candidate have to be before you would vote for a democrat (no need to answer this)?  The point being that the quality of the candidate only goes so far, and is always going to be outweighed by policy.  It truly doesn't matter that bad democratic options are worse than the bad republican options in areas that are moderate or left-leaning, and vice versa in conservative areas.  here's the thing that republicans in ultra-red states always seem to ignore: in many states there is a very even split of republicans and democrats. in some states democrats have an advantage, but it's not insurmountable. in order to win those states, you have to actually provide a good option for moderates and apathetic democrats to vote for.  The candidate that you'd want representing you in Texas is a terrible choice to run in these races.  A terrible choice that is also associated with trump is even worse.  A quality candidate could've flipped Pennsylvania, but a Trump-backed TV doctor wasn't going to do it, even against someone like Fetterman.  That's just the political makeup of Pennsylvania at the current time. I think you're an intelligent person, and I respect your opinions.  That said, your continued insistence that the fault lies with the "low information voters" rather than with the republican party for failing to do what it takes to secure their votes is incorrect IMO.  Combine that with the inexplicable attack on abortion (not arguing right and wrong, just insanely stupid timing) just a few months before midterms, and the Republicans are lucky to have secured the meager gains they did.  

So I decided to be MAN enough to make a post congratulating the titans as a team. Team meaning I’m going to give the sideline props. I NEVER DOUBTED THE ABILITY OF THIS TEAM… EVER!!! Despite questionable characters that hang around hs boys etc…saying I’m hating on kids like wtf??? It seems Morgan went with the old saying “ keep it simple stupid” and made the game easier to manage. I said in another post after seeing the brackets, PAM can go 4 rds for sure. Now if I’m gonna criticize the players it’s going to be the dumb penalties. Some last night was bad calls, but some was legit. I’m glad to see no personal fouls were handed out and that’s big for PAM. I still believe PAM could do better with another coach, but that’s discussion for another day. CONGRATULATIONS PAM AND HANDLE BUSINESS NEXT WEEK!!!!

Facts as to what? You mean bringing up that Coach has lost in the first round? My life IS centered around the high school football games. See I view myself as a role model for these young men. I speak to them about life and football. Also how to use football as a way for a free education. So as I said before, the garage that you spew week in and week affects kids more than you think. When they're wondering why they have to play the opponents and the refs. Now they're wondering why it's their fans also. (Which is pitiful)

We were not favored to beat foster nor Hightower.  You can tell when someone doesn't know regional football and matchups.  Hightower made it to the regional finals both years.  So did foster but I won't let facts and research get in the way of a hot take

Honest question and no direspect but have you ever really supported Memorial? Because in all of the years I’ve been on here its been constant negativity. Very little support and constant blaming. I dont think any of the coach’s have been good enough. And the team is never expected to win a big game when your predicting. I hope you go about life with a more positive attitude because with Memorial sports its always been pretty negative.

YES, we know that you're tired of first round exits. 
YES, we know that you're PAM’S biggest fan! 
YES, we know that you want better for the kids. 
But, tell us something that we don't know for ONCE. Tell us all what's going GOOD for PAM? 
What's your motivation for supporting the kids of PA? (because essentially they're the ones you consistently attack)

I agree completely about student athletes NOT being called out. They’re kids. 
 
I’ll abide by the rule about coaches, but it’s dumb. 
 
If a man wants to take on the role of coaching with all of its financial rewards, prestige, power, etc… and expects to bask in the glory and praise after wins, he/she should have to face the criticism when it comes. There’s a big difference between criticizing a kid who threw a pick versus criticizing a highly paid professional who made a questionable play call, or is even having problems after deciding to install a new philosophy despite the old one being pretty doggone effective.  Should people stick “for sale” signs in his yard? Absolutely not. But should that man be spared from any form of criticism, too? I don’t think so. 
 

You sound stupid as usual. A real fan would not have forgotten a playoff game, especially if they attended it. 🙄 
A real fan would not wish for the demise of their own team. 
A real fan would voice their concerns up close and personal at the fieldhouse if they really had an issue. 
A real fan wouldn't whine and ****h every week, that's little man syndrome.
