Lance is a work in progress , once we get his confidence and coordination right Lance gone be a big asset , he held his own vs the post from big city who gave us fits last year . The post went 0-5 vs lance no help . We played strictly man today

I coached them today , We went 3-1 , having to play 4 games in a row due to a team dropping out . But We beat buna twice by 12 and 20 , and split with BC first game won by 10 and second game we lost by 4, we did a lot of good things mix a lot of lineups in , and of course it’s a lot of things we need to clean up but when coach Brown get done putting in his defensive stuff we will be ok. Got tabc in a few weeks . But the kids played super hard today !I will say this we gone play some Defense this year .

Talking bout the defense part . Ain’t nothing reason of playing cupcakes .. you don’t get better like that . Take ya licks ! It’s just basketball

Top of the morning .. First off congratulations to CB , well deserved but We will never play in those tournaments lol, ain’t nothing changed, the show must go on , CB has a great basketball mind and I think it’s a great hire . The fact remain the kids still have to put in the work . I dont care if we play Evadale or BU you have a job to do .. get in the lab and get off tik toc .. It’s a great day to be a tiger . And for the record before people start spreading rumors about Jacob and Ira is mad is false , they support the hire . I ain’t been on social media in 4 months but I see all the farewell fans jumping ship ..I love it lol . And we still win district this year

you must been reading my mind!!!!! cause that's exactly what we doing this summer . we don't shoot enough because we not confident in our shot but this summer that's all we doing, also learning how to play some real defense and basically getting back to the basics. I seen wheatley let that bad boy fly with no hesitation

Im not the person to only show face when we win , I take our losses just like I take our wins, I stated on my fb post its 8 things we have to do to advance in the first 1 was finish of the defensive possession with a rebound , although the rebound count was even the offensive rebounds is what sent us to the attic .2nd it was don't let number #20 shoot from the top of the key , he hit 3 threes from that exact sport. this was a bad loss because we was 10 points better than this team. all the mental collapse, all the miss free throws, all turnovers, it caught up with us, my opinion houston wheatley makes it to state champ game smh . most of the varsity boys will be on my aau team this summer , we have alot of work to do with our program and it starts now , but remember this name .. Lance Chaison, and payton sells. they will be thrown in the fire this summer

thats your opinion but I done watched 3 full games of Wheatley vs yates and btw, it's no way you think Wheatley is overall better when all they do is take bad 3"s all game, no inside game cause the big shoot 3's too , try to run a press which they are just reaching and fouling , sanders can hoop Tho , all we got to do is get the long rebs cause its not a shot they don't like , and we got to get back on defense cause made or miss they leaking out, we control the glass we win by 10 . we are a better defensive team than Wheatley , when we break that press its gone be all she wrote I'll take it every day of the week, twice on Sundays, Mike can you let me know if they confirm the venue and time, I'm at work until 7 and can't have my phone

I Know alot of folks around the Golden triangle, don't believe we will make a deep run, heck even people from Silsbee don't , its not hating its just your opinion, but I'm telling yall these young men are ready to make the town proud . I talked to a few of the players last night and they said we hear all the non believers and we gone show everybody starting Monday night . I always said this, every time Silsbee steps on the court they have one if not the best player on the court and I know you need more than that but to know we have that , I'm living with the results, if we get lost in rebound and defending its gone be hard to beat us . this playoff run gone be special I can feel it .
