I wouldn't say that Vidor scoring over 30 pts is too far fetched.  Don't quote me on my stats but in the past 4 or 5 seasons, Vidor has scored over 30pts 7 times, 40pts 7 times, 50pts 2 times, and 60pts 2 times.

Its not so much that teams like to go deep, its the coverage that Vidor plays.  Vidor likes to play man BUT the DB's are told to give 7+ yards of cushion and NO that is not coming form the DC.  

This was Vidor’s (home games only, no announcers but game background) last year.

like Thompson has always said Vidor is a very physicals football team and he likes playing them over the years tonight the staff on both  sides are going to take a long deep look at there weakness on both sides of the ball come next week they will travel to Nederland and brother this will be one heck of a game PS  wo-s LBs need to play light out football and fast to the football

Sorry your comprehension is lacking.  I was simply reminding you that Vidor has been in 4A before not that our record was better against LCM.  But recent history (past few years, not 20+ years ago) would suggest that if we played LCM every week then Vidor would be state champs!

Yup, I remember that '96 season. I was young but it was my older brothers senior year so I remember a good bit of it and that was a fun football season for sure!

'96 football season Vidor went 5-5 (undefeated at home) under Head Coach Pat Murphy.  That was also the year that we beat WO-S at home 20-19.  The '97 football season (graduated in '98) we went 2-8 under Head Coach Johnson.
