You continually miss the boat. It is amazing you have the gumption to actually post. And yes, if you want to question my ability to type out a little paragraph, I have the ability to question your intelligence.
What disgusts me is not this little forum, or this little topic...it is the fact that you have the nerve to mock people while simultaneously hiding behind your wall that shields you from ridicule. Yes, I do take that seriously. That is childish, and does nothing but stifle true debate. When you think about why serious discussions cannot be had, you can thank yourself for contributing to that divide. You are the problem. And unlike you, I do not delve in sarcasm veiled as empathy. I don't know how old you are, but I am certain you need to grow up.

The democrats accomplished this through SALESMANSHIP. People keep saying the democrats were responsible for slavery, the KKK and all that. Nope. Conservatives were responsible for that. Democrats and republicans are salesmen. They represent whoever will buy. Democrats once marketed towards conservatives who supported slavery and Jim Crow and all that. They lost conservative support mid 20th century. They began to market to liberals at that point. They have done a good job marketing but haven’t done as good when it comes to delivering promises. The republicans now market to the conservatives

Both sides are getting worse every election and usually these long posts are riddled with untruths.  Just read the first part of this post and there are errors.  There were Democrats at the inauguration so this is false, though there were quite a few missing.  Skipping inaugurations is nothing new in politics as there were republicans that skipped inaugurations of Clinton and Obama.  Inauguration skipping goes back to at least Woodrow Wilson when some skipped in support of Women's right to vote.  

I'm not a fan of either candidate, but we will have to decide in November.  Hopefully we can get some real information to base our decisions on instead of false stuff floating on the internet.

Got word today that Coach Brad Jeffcoat of Little Cypress-Mauriceville and Coach Greg Wise of Jack Yates have agreed to play this season, Dec. 22 at Jack Yates HS.

If you get a chance to play the #1 team in the state, you take it.  Playing these Silsbee teams the last several years showed us where we stood relative to the elite teams in the state and that's an opportunity we didn't want to pass up.  We've also got a home game schedule with Wheatley on January 2.  Really excited/hopeful to play this year!

WOODVILLE EAGLES
2019 Record: 4-6 Overall; 3-4 District
5th Place in District 12-3A-I
 
The 2019 Woodville Eagles, which started seven freshmen, found themselves in an unusual position as they failed to make the Class 3A, Division II playoffs for the first time since 2014.  While the Eagles will still be somewhat young in 2020 (five starters return on offense and eight on defense) but return enough experience to compete for a playoff spot out of District 12-3A-I.
 
COACHING

OFFENSE
Five starters return to the Eagle double wing offense in 2020.  Darius Bean will step in to take over the quarterback position.  Junior running back Kevon Paire will join him in the backfield.  Sophomore wide out Kam Wyatt will lead a receiver corp which will also include wide outs Lloyd Evans and Jalen Kibble.  Senior tight ends Kyler Coleman and Demetrius Brown return to action along with junior Linus Mannino.  Senior lineman Jack Gore returns to lead an offensive line which will feature center Tyler Hatton and junior offensive tackle Brayden Lilley.
 
DEFENSE
Eleven starters return to the Woodville 3-4 defense in 2020.  Sophomore nose tackle Braylon Rigsby, senior defensive tackle D'Quincy Wise (1st team all-district), junior defensive end Pop Prejean (1st team all-district) and sophomore Tre Harris all return.  Junior inside linebacker Nick Traylor and senior inside linebacker Jacorey Hyder (both 2nd team all-district) will be joined by senior linebacker Marcus Wagner as well as linebacker Logan Brush and sophomore linebacker Tim Flebbe.  Sophomore safeties Kaden Williams and Lane Ferguson, along with senior cornerbacks Ronald Washington and Ethan Porter, will patrol the Eagle secondary with sophomore Jatavion Taylor also contributing.

Well, some people did dislike him over race and religion. Not all, not even a majority, but some did. I had lunch in a cafe on the square in Newton the day after Obama was elected. People were openly discussing it and it disintegrated into people telling n-word jokes. Openly, back-and-forth, table to table. The kind of “jokes” I hadn’t heard since I was a kid. I didn’t join in, but I didn’t say anything and I didn’t stand up and leave, either. There are a few things in life I’d like a chance to do over, and that’s on the short list. 
My company matches my contributions with another 25%. That 25%in year one is hard to leave on the table. Schwab handles our accounts and they have tons of options for the employee to choose from in regards to the actual stock and securities. It’s been good to me, lol. 

I’ve said plenty times there are several factors that go into crime rates. Population being the main one. Politics having nothing to do with it. 
 
Anniston Alabama has a population of 21000 and steadily declining. They also have a low population density at 494/sq mile. But there are other factors. The main one in my opinion is that they have a metro population of over 100000. Another being they have a high poverty rate of 30%. They also have a low marriage rate of 35%. All these things weighed in they normally have anywhere from 4 to 14 murders each year regardless of who’s in office. 
 
Nederland Texas population is a little smaller at 17600. But they are also 6 times as dense at 3000/sq mile. Nederland doesn’t have much of a metro population. Nederland has really low poverty rate of 7% and a very solid marriage rate of 50%. Nederland may have 1 or 2 murders every 5 years 
Orange Texas has a population of 18200 with a density of around 820/sq mile. Orange doesn’t have much metro pop. Orange has a 22% poverty rate. Orange has a 42% marriage rate. Orange has 1-4 murders each year.
Vidor Texas has a population of 10500 and 870/sq mile. Vidor doesn’t have metro population. Vidor has a 21% poverty rate but Vidor has a good marriage rate at 53%. Vidor has 1 or 2 murders per year. 
 
Beaumont Texas pop is over 100000 with a 1500/sq mile density. BMT metro pop is over 400000. Poverty rate is 19% and I can’t remember what the marriage rate is. Beaumont has 10-18 murders each year. 
 
Port Authur Texas population is around 50000. PAT has a density of 800/sq mile. The metro pop is over 400000. Poverty rate is at 30% and the marriage rate is at 41%. PAT has 4-16 murders each year.
Woodville Texas has a population of 2500 with a density of 770/sq mile. Woodville has no metro population and poverty rate of around 22%. Marriage rate at 38%. Woodville has maybe one murder every 5 years. 
 
Chicago has a population of 2600000 with a super high density of 12000/sq mile. Chicago’s metro pop is around 10000000. Chicago has a 20% poverty rate and 35% marriage rate. Chicago has 500-700 murders each year. 
 
New York City’s population is 8.25 M with a density of 27k/mile. Metro pop is around 19 M. NYC’s poverty rate is 17%. The marriage rate is 40%. NYC was once doing 1000-2000 murders each year during the 80s. While the conservative savior was in office in the late 90s the rate declined as it did in the rest of the country. When he left in 2001 it was at around 600 murders per year. Since he’s been gone it has remained at 270-500 murders per year although there has been some crazy lefty screwing things up lol. 
 
So now that you have some real factors to look at other than political parties what do you think the main factors are for crime rates?

Africa is still Africa. I wouldn’t be able to identify an African flag if I seen one lol. But it wouldn’t bother me at all if those countries are still up and running and weren’t defeated for the freedom of my people. Some people trace our heritage back to Africa but I actually think our heritage goes beyond that
