  1. I guess you are struggling with reading. The genesis post that was cited stated “SETX 3As”. The transcript is available.
  2. I said Woodville and Diboll are clearly not afraid. Sometimes it seems like you try to create an argument. For clarification: when schools are similar in competition level and available, logistics is the greatest factor.
  3. Understood, the discussion that you cited in your quote when you mentioned Jasper was regarding 3As.
  4. A lot of factors go into scheduling but as indicated by the previous schedule, they are “not afraid to schedule Franklin”. I suspect logistics is the greatest factor.
  5. Yes, let’s see if they do better this year than last year.
  6. I feel relatively certain that Franklin had two SETX 3As on the schedule for the last two years. How many of them should play Franklin each year?
  7. Got. It is your “unsubstantiated and disproven” belief as illustrated with PNG.
  8. And you can "rest assured" that losing to Pearland, Katy, etc in non-competitive games will not help them do any better in district either.
  9. I have thought the same thing. Especially when people suggest that Nederland should schedule Pearland, Katy schools and other 6As.
  10. Yes, and because Nederland is playing Silsbee, Nederland will have no chance to succeed.
  11. Is the new coach "good"? What was his record for the "past 2 seasons"? Be interesting to see he gets amnesia and forgets how to coach now. Or whether or not he intends to implement relatively unknown coaching approach of teaching "fundamentals and technique"?
  12. Does not matter who they have for coaches, they did not schedule 6A schools from Katy, Cypress and Pearland in their pre-district. Still seems odd that a similar pre-district schedule did not hinder PNG this year?
  13. He wanted them to play 6As such as Pearland, Katy Schools or College Station.
  14. That is a shame. Sounds like the new coach has no chance to turn the program around (because they are playing Silsbee, WOS, and Lumberton in pre-district). Probably will not even matter if they were to "teach fundamentals and technique".
  15. Hitchcock may not have a team by the time they get to district.
  16. Well, as long as they can find some coaches that know to "teach fundamentals and technique" they should be able to overcome the poor schedule.
  17. Understood. What do you think would have happened if he spoke to Pearland, Cinco Ranch or Katy?
  18. So, you did not participate in the scheduling? It is usually very easy, just pick who you want to play and put them on the schedule.
  19. You have made a great suggestion in that Nederland should find coaches that "teach fundamentals and technique". You should set up a meeting with the staff and share your insight. It is likely that if Nederland coaches were to "teach fundamentals and technique", they could dethrone PNG and Lake Creek. The only issue is that it will be difficult to find coaches that would know to "teach fundamentals and technique". Also, when you were at the meetings on Thursday, which schools were available for Nederland to schedule? The 6A schools and CS?
