 At times our D has looked good (excluding the vidor game lol), but we are allowing too many pts. WOS put up 39 on us, Huffman 31, Vidor 29. Im hoping we have a good week in practice and show up prepared friday night!

DCTF had LCM at #12, Maxpreps had us at #7. Vidor will prob in in maxprep top 10 this week. Possibly DCTF also.

To get back on topic, don’t want to take over y’all’s game thread. I want to watch Lumberton play, all I have seen is highlights on the news but they look pretty explosive with the passing game. Looks like they have a couple of athletic receivers and a QB that can sling it but I’d like to have a good look at their offensive and defensive lines to make a better judgment on them. I think LCM can be explosive too and they look to have good enough line play to possibly give Ltown problems in the trenches. I look for a shootout here, I’m talking 40+ points for each team. A good pass rush is what helps our secondary out, sometimes those scrambling QBs can give the DBs problems when they extend the play. Last year we had very small, short corners, good players but the jump ball gave them problems. This season we have more size on the outside and I like that. LCM only had a few bad drops but man were they in crucial moments. The one over the middle in the first half could have gone to the house, QB hit him right in stride.

i knew that was gonna hurt us....bc we could not stop vidors offense...

vidor secondary did look good...LCM receivers dropping balls made them look even better smh

the dropped passes definitely hurt us last night. and i agree we may see 3 tms from our district playing in area round

Unless they got some one I havnt seen back. Huffman Head coach said it was a fluke that Lumberton beat Livingston so they were fired up for game. If Vidor has another turnover free game, and can eliminate the false starts, their offense will be hard to stop. They ran that slot t down our throats last night. And chewed up a ton of clock doing it. Gotta go with vidor here. 

24 hrs ago, I would have said LCM by a few scores. But after last night, I dont know about this one. 

frustrating night for a bear fan. nothing worse than knowing exactly what your opponent is gonna run at you, and just not being able to stop it! they chewed our defense up all night. if not for a few false starts, they wouldnt have punted once.

I would think it would help Vidor in their favor, but with them and ball security and a wet football? Idk. Mathews said in a interview after the game, that they're gonna get it corrected, and if any group can do it, it's these kids. Lawd, I hope so! LCM seemed to struggle against Jasper with a wet field so, it'll definitely even things out I would think.

maybe we should move the game to vidor lol play on that nice turf field

as good as OF is looking, and as much as I would love to see them pull this off, i just can't see it happening...WOS is just too fast and athletic...WOS wins 35-14

all i know is the last few meetings between the 2, Vidor has ran all over us and shut our offense down...i don't see that happening this year...at least I hope it don't lol
