Basketball on grass is not working out for your guys...the only difference between the stump's is the one at west brook knew when to get out. Can't run that offense without skill kids, hometown boy with very little athleticism  showed that.

Well said Brook alum....Stump is a former college coach who came in with a great situation a left when the everything else dried up. I hope coach flanigan does well. By the way for the next two years he will get rolled up in district. He laid his money down that he would get put in a weak district like WB did when he left kelly....Didn't work out so well this time

I don't care who you play. If you hold someone to 27 total yards then they should be recognized as a unit. I hope the Pirates get what they deserve.

Last year was great for both schools but make not mistake it was LAST YEAR...both teams better be ready for all of 20 4A because last year means nothing right now.

Just a classic example of a Sup. trying to get back at a board who non- renewed the other coach even though he recommended that they keep him. The sup. is on his way out so he is going to strong arm everyone and let them know he is in charge.

Ball scheduled both Nederland and Vidor but dropped them. I was told school board would not allow them to play those two teams. Wonder why.

all do respect you are wrong...I was a an assistant who saw everything...I will be graduating from Lamar this spring but was allowed o coach on that staff...I like the new guy he was a figure head and did not run the program..I can't speak for is time at the brook but I know he won every year up until ozen opened up..

From every coach on staff...he did the practice plan...he called the plays...he did it all..JUST ask any body on that coaching staff

al rabb won every year he was a beaumont until ozen opened up...When he finally built the program  back up he was let go. HE was in the state championship game with kelly and stump never did that. Ask anyone who knows who ran that program this year?.....Rabb
