I never said coaches are not held accountable...because they are. I said that I disagree with fans making comments and calling your dad a SOB in the stands. You can disagree all you want, and if coaches do not produce they will get let go which is understandable. You would think of all people using and ETBU call sign that you would understand that. I graduated from there and know that the majority of people would not agree with you. It is a Christian based school and for you to condone that kind of action is repulsive. I know I am not perfect and I make mistakes all the time, but I will never forget the fundmental value that ETBU taught me on how to treat people. I think you might have forgot it.

If and when your kid makes it to the next level.....go yell at that coach and see where it gets you... IF the coaches don't produce then they have bosses just like everyone else that they have to answer to. Coaches don't go to your job and tell you how to do them, then why do people feel like they have the right to yell at them all night. Most coaching stipends range from 2500- 3500 dollars. They do not do this because they get rich, they do it because they love kids and the game, and yet they have to answer questions from their 5 year old on why people do not like their dad. I personally get tired of it. I can take all the criticism in the world, but when I see my kid start crying like that it makes me want to beat the crap out someone. I personally have never met a coach that doesn't play to win and play the kids that give him the best chance to win, whether they are 10-0 or 0-10.... they always play to WIN.. So the next time you go to a game just remember who may be sitting around you...it may be a wife, a kid, a mom, a dad, or a grandparent of a coach... If you are one of these people who doesn't care and thinks just because youpay taxes you have the right to act like and a-hole then God be with you and your kids and lets hope they do not turn out like you.

I do not think pa can stay with north shore... with that said I believe pa and west brook will be a great game. I have seem them both and they seem to be evenly matched...

Maybe so, I just saw a complete circus from the top down. Drugs everywhere, fights all the time, not to mention guns being brought on campus. It just wasn't a good sitution.

Aaron, I HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR A LONG TIME. I AM NOT A SUMMER LEAGUE COACH. I am not doubting Stumps ability to coach, nor was I doubting Ronnie Thompsons ability to coach. It was just a difficult sitution that had nothing to do with TALENT. I think highly of both coaches, but in my experience it didn't work.

Worked in both school districts. They have basically the same issues. It would never be a lack of talent, it would always be getting those kids to play together. Then you would have to to with the school issues that go on. Not to say that it couldn't work....just in my experience it didn't.

Very good point about thomas. He gets a clearly ouststanding grade each year yet very few of his schools meet the state acceptable rating. Very shady hiring practices with the bond issue yet no one says anything. He has schools fallen apart around him, and he is the highest paid sup. in the state per student ratio. Again leadership starts at the top, if you want to keep good coaches get a good administrator.

just saw Craig at the powerlifting meet. I asked him if he was going to be in purple next year. His reply was I can't talk about that at this time, smiled then went on his way. He definitely wants to come if they pay him the money.

It is not a rumor, they met last week. He missed school to met with png officials. This is about the time all the crap came out about keeping the list private. He has a price, and if they will meet it, he WILL be the next head coach.

The two parties met about a week ago, stump missed school( which he never does) to talk to the png people. I assume this is when he said he didn't want the names released. There is no reason to hide it anymore. They want him, he has a price, if you meet his conditions he will come.

You don't have to stay quite. Everybody already knows PNG has met with him and he came to the table with a number. Pay it.

PNG wants to be considered a big time program then it is time to pay a coach a big time salary... You already built the best stadium in South East Texas, so why stop there. Pay the man, and complete the transformation of the reservation.

Will it even matter. The guy they are talking about WILL get the job if he chooses to take it. We all know who it is. Just be patient and it will all work out.

MB will not stay. You can say all you want about the new postion, and the money that he will make. Bottom line he has one year left on his contract, so they had to do something or buy him out. PNG is to cheap to buy out the contract, so you reassign the man to a postion and hope he leaves on his own so you don't have to pay him. I am not a png supporter or a mb supporter. I am solely looking at the facts from an outside view. If you take in account everthing that he has done, you basically threw one of your own under the bus, which usually leads to turmoil inside the program.

Coach of the year last year. Helps get a great facility approved. Has a tremendous record. Has coached there 22 years. You fire him during a hurricane season. You guys are pathetic. This man devoted his life to PNG football, and you threw him out with the trash. I can't remember the last time nederland went to the state finals, but i can sure remember the last time PNG did. With all that said, I hope you find what you are looking for........but beware.......this almost always comes back to bite you in the rear.

Again, if three teams are tied it, would not matter who beat who. It would go to a point sytem. For example, team A beat Team B 14-7. Team C beats team A 7-3. Team B beats team C 21-7. Team A would be + 4 Team B would be +14 Team C would be -10 Team B would be in the playoffs with +14

Head to Head tie breakers only matter when TWO teams are tied. If three are more teams are tied it reverts to points.

Livingston has not clinched anything. If they lose to Central( which could happen) they would be 4-2. If Vidor lose to Nedereland that would make them 3-3 going in to the last week with Livingston. If Vidor beat Livingston then Vidor would be 4-3 and Livingston would be 4-3....Vidor would go based on head to head. There are whole lot of other playoff possibilities also. The only one that looks like a lock is Lumberton.
