I agree with everything you are saying and I'm not a big believer in facilities having anything to do with success.  But when these boys are playing the biggest games of their lives, I would hope that a school could allow them to do it with fresh legs.  I'm not saying it would have made a difference on who won the game, but there is no denying that it makes a difference in endurance on the field.  It wouldn't be hard to raise the money for hotel rooms especially with everyone in SETX wanting to see our local teams succeed.  People outside of Newton, including me, would have donated money to help these boys.  

I know what u saying on getting there late,wos in 2000 got there late too,by game time the team still had the wow factor(not ready to play at all)

Lord, give all the fans safe travel and a injury free game for both teams . I pray the officiating  is fair and what is expected of a championship game. Lord, I pray  Newton plays up to our ability and  they do there best.

Heavenly Father, I pray for safe travel for all West-Orange fans and Gilmer fans and a injury free game. I pray the Mustangs plays up to there ability's and that will be goo enough for the win!

Congrats to all who earned all-dist. honors. A special shout out to my grandson #56 from Jasper,Tx. . Alec Williams. You were a beast this year  & we are proud of you. Missed a lot of Newton games watching  him and he didn't disappoint us any. Just a proud shout out!

I just want both Newton and  West Orange-Starks to Win two more games each this year!  Just do it.

Both teams have athletes everywhere and have great tradition. I believe turn-overs and half time adjustments will win this game. We have all kinds of respect for C.C. as they have for Newton. I hope for a clean game and one where the officials aren't throwing a flag every play. I pray the game will be injury free and I think we will meet again in the quarter-finals.JMO

That being said, West-Orange has already regrouped and they will be someone that will be ready for anyone anywhere. also playing quality teams don't just help the kids. It mentally prepares the coaches for better teams in the play-offs.JMO

West Orange will be making a statement in practice. We are West Orange ! This game could get ugly in a hurry. West Orange comes out and K.O. Liberty in the first quarter. West Orange 56- Liberty 0. I think West Orange will play the rest of the season with an attitude of sending a message that We are West -Orange, get ready for what is coming! JMHO
