I think Newton has definately had the tougher pre and post season road. I honestly don't think waskom would have made it down that road.........but that's a mute point and it's just my opinion.

Having watched the Sonora game on film, Newton can definately beat them and match up pretty good.
Having watched the first half of the Blanco game live, Newton can shoot themselves in the foot, as most any HS team can do.

Waskom has speed and disguises the ball well offensively.
Defensively, they gave up the edge a lot and Sonora burned the corners up with the run.

I don't see Newton getting out coached and they have the experience to get it done.

Newtons defense will be the factor in this game.Waskom will not put up the points as usual. Newtons Offense line will dominant and Newton rolls. I'm calling it Newton wins 28 plus..

I'll take Newton by 13, 37-24. Every halfway decent team Waskom has played this season has put up points on them. Newton is better than anyone they've faced, and their defense is going to slow Waskom down as well.
