OK name change is in order I see ! Black Death alittle over the top and Doomsday already taken in Big D. So how about[b] KILLER DOG DEFENSE[/b]! lol. Hey I started it so I can change it lol. Also no conflict with the new kid Jordan. He is fast and a good 6 footer. We needed two safeties  anyways and he just may be one or another taller outside reciever opposite Kimler. We have a very strong preseason so it should give us a real understanding of what we have and what we need to work on. The chemistry is really awesome on this team. I will say that there has been more college coaches this spring at practices then I have seen the last few years. GO DOGS!!!!!

The Black Death Defense was in full swing, but you would expect that with so many returners. It is amazing that Nederlands defense loses the Willie Ray Smith Defensive player of the year and the are going to be bigger and faster. The offense  looks good with 4 qbs and 4 good rbs. Carson was in full control and when he had  time threw well. They will do it again this Friday.

It was not a give away or a take away. Ned had the same thing happen to them against BH. They made one more play then we did when they needed it. It was earned. A lot of good teams had close battles last year. We should all be proud of the way all of the teams competed. On that note can't wait till next season to see these battles rage again. I know a bunch of hungry [b]DOGS [/b]that want to defend that which they one last year and bring a [b]STATE CHAMPIONSHIP[/b] home to Nederland .

I can say with confidence that Dayton is not only going to beat BH but spank them. Dayton better look out for GCM and Crosby. Smoking baby can you answer why BH cancelled their game against Nederland for this year. I have heard that they did not wan't a whipping in return for last years  overtime win.

District 20-4a 1. Nederland 2. Vidor 3. Livingston 4. Ozen 5. PN-G 6. Central 7. LC-M 8. Lumberton That said 4-7 could really be difficult to pick. Ozen no Tre Green but Jakobi, Central=questionable coaching but good athletes,PN-G lost alot but good coaching, LCM = not good defense but if Cesar plays well and stays focused. PN-G 66 I don't know where you are getting your numbers but they are highly inflated. PN-G lost the most out of the district including Bertrand, Nelson,Miller, Nicotre and Davis. I know for a fact they do not average no 265 on offense or 250 on defense, but it is nice to dream. I see them a lot myself not to mention I know a few of them lol. I believe Vidor returns the most followed by Nederland. Nederland lost 5 starter on offense 2 linemen, 2 running backs and 1 receiver. Lost 4 starters on defense 1 linebacker, 1 linemen,1 corner back, and 1 safety. Offensive line will be bigger this year and the defensive front will still be the best in 20-4a.

Brock Pryor  from Nederland is getting looked at by Air Force, Louisiana Tech, ETBU and got some invites to visit TCU but that's all from them.

I understand that Nederland will scrimmage WO-S and then play Crosby,GCM and Angelton before starting the new district. Will be an interesting start with some high caliber teams. Man after Thursday can we please start the season LOL.

I do not pretend to know what all took place at this game. What I can report is that I have seen this exact behavior from players and parents from Ozen on more than one occasion. This from volleyball, basketball and football games that I had attended. I've seen parents,players and coaches from Ozen cuss,verbally assault and get physical . I am sure La Marque is no angel but it would not be hard to believe it was started by Ozen.

Man tough choice 1.Vidor vs Ozen ( Think it was all the speed) 2. Ned vs WOS always big when you beat this team 3.Ned vs Vidor  2nd best rivalry for Ned 4. Ned vs PN-G Best rivalry in all of East Texas. 5. Ned vs Stratford double OT

Zack Taylor is a junior. Carr ,Butler,Delord and Brossard were full time and Hopkins was in special packages nickle.

Big Ned has 7 starters returning on both sides of the ball. These are full time starters. Lost 2 running backs, center and left tackle on offense. defense lost one defensive end, outside linebacker, CB and safety. Lost  some good backups too. the replacement they have in mind look good and should fill in quite nicely. Just curious how many of WOS returning starter  should actually be in college or at least graduated( i.e. 19 or 20 year olds).

Congradulations to all the young men. See working haed pays off. Brock so proud of you.

From the films I've watched and the games played I think Dawson wins by at least 10. Dawson s offense is just to good. I do not believe Angelton can outscore them with the defense they have. Just my opinion and i have been wrong before .

Just wanted to say THANKS to all the fans and football fanatics who have supported the DOGS so far this year. It makes the games so much more exciting and I know for sure that the young men on the field notice it and like it. Thanks Again!

Thanks VPATH the team works hard and has a never die attitude. Sounds very similar to the Pirates .GOOD LUCK go 20-4a.

All linemen at Nederland both offense and defense are required.

DOGS will be just fine first game back for all the starting defense and they looked good but can get better. Offense will be better. They had an off night . Carson will lead the team and get them back rolling. I think the play book was narrowed down for GCM in order that we have some surprises down the road. Stratford got a big QB and fairly decent Defense, but of the game film Brock and I have watched, we have a really good chance. Just control both lines of scrimmage.

Well if we are going to use that logic,I have go with Nederland. We were picked below Vidor and ended up going on to an undefeated District Championship run and are also in 2nd round. GO DOGS!!!!!

All I can say is better step that defense up or PN-G will expose it like OZEN did BH.
