1. Well I guess if we are going to use who is being recruited as linemen as the possible winner ok. Yes the young man from LC-M is big and being recruited by great Div 1 schools and that is awesome and best wishes but he is one of 6 linemen. Nederlands front four are also being recruited by a variety of D1 schools .. DeShawn with A&M,Texas ,LSU and several others. Malveaux by Arizona and OState. Curon by Nebraska, LeHigh and others. Pryor by SEL, Northwestern, Henderson State, Southwestern and asked to walk on at Oklahoma State. No not all of these are Bama but all are going to play next level ball but all that means squat. It is about each one doing their job. Nederlands size does seem to wear down the o line of teams . This was also evident against Angleton who has several D1 .
2. No one said Nederland  D-line was going to dominate LC-Ms OL. Nederlands defense works really well together and if the line does their job then the guys behind them make plays. I do believe that the Bears offense as a whole is one of the best in 20-4a. They execute well but they have to control the line and I do not think they can do it enough against the DOGS. We are big and athletic but we have to do our jobs right every play. This is the defense that slowed down to to a crawl the Livingston O and allowed Vidor  13 points when they we averaging 40 points. I really think the bigger question is can Nederland O score on LC-Ms D.
3. So is this just in WO-S district because I think I remember NED and even PN-G scored on them. Now don't get me wrong those young men are BAD A** but they can and will be scored on. IMO
4. Well who do you got? Nederland almost got caught sleeping and I don't think that will happen again. Nederland will have some of the offensive line back which allows DeShawn to play just defense. Bears like to run with Sezar as he is a legit 4.4 guy.  I think DOGS defense will be to much and slow him down. Dogs offense gets line play straight and we see Hopkins run for another 200 yards. Dogs 35-14.
5. Well I do bark alot cheer loud and scream till I am hoarse. Last night I was yelling to tell the boys to get there act together and play like they are capable of playing. I am a PN_G grad and guess I learned that fiery spirit there. Had some new people sitting in front of us  last night and I can say that I scared them with the first set of BARKS LOL. I want the boys to win but more important is play their best and last night was not their best. Hey I am proud of how they fought thru it and won showed determination. GO DOGS!!
6. Looks like the DOGS and Pirates both came out flat in the first half of these games but both got COACHED up at half. Sloppy play still with turnovers but both team did what it took to win. I think it was the wake up call both needed after such a hard fought game last week. Next week Nederland will be closer to full strength hopefully with linemen coming back which will let DeShawn play one side of the ball. Marcus Barton looks to have concussion and PRAY he heals quickly and gets back soon.  I will say that I was a bit too vocal at the game last night and I am SORRY. I just know the talent level these boys can play at and they played nowhere near that tonight.GOOD JOB DOGS! The win is what counts. Just always stay focused on the task at hand.
7. Ok I'm biased but Brock Pryor is my favorite, well because he is my wonderful son. Love You and go get those Lions tonight.
8. Way to go Debawgler. You have earned. Now go out and rip up the lions tonight.
9. Vidors defense is quick and mean. Ozen offense can be fast and Jakobi is lighting waiting to strike. Vidor better be better prepared for the pass or they could be in trouble. Besides Tony Ozens  defense is ok but think Vidor will run up and down the field. Just Montana better not pass know where near Tony Brown because he will take it to the house. If Vidor D plays like last week they can pull this out. Vidor 21-14.
10. I know a pack of BULLDOGS that are ready to eat up those Lions like they ate up all those bones from the Boneyard last week. They are going to chase those Lions all the way back to Livingston. They are focused and ready to play. The Defense is big and quick and put the smack on the Lions Offense. The DOGS Offense is got another week of experience with the backup linemen in and they look good. We play our kind of ball no mistakes the DOGS will win 28-10. GO DOGS!!!!!!!!!!!!
11. Robadana our you serious. They have found no evidence where the sheet came from. In fact last I heard they were questioning 2 Vidor residents. Know that is odd and probably just a rumor but before you go call Nederland RACIST  you better be 100% sure it was Nederland people . Next question is my son Brock Pryor was chop blocked 3 times watch the game and see. Then after the game he was spit at by a man walking back to the locker room as was Kolby Curon.  So please don't say stupid sht. Caleb was walking around at practice today and looks to be suiting up tomorrow. GO DOGS
12. Nederland has seen plenty of SPEED so far this year. Lets see Crosby twins,WO-S team,DAyton, GCM quarterback,Angletons whole team and then Vidors misdirection which was really good. So I think they have seen some speed once or twice. It comes down to whether their o-line can stop the DOGS D-line. Then looks like Livingston can be passed on which will open up the run. I going to pick DOGS 35-14. Collins and #9 seem to carry team. Collins got tired of being hit last year and it took its toll on him. So we shall see if we can do it again.
13. Nederland will not look pass Livingston. Livingston has scored on the opening play the last 2 years. Nederlands defense wants to prove they can stop the best players in the district. Brock to;d me they take it personally when a big play happens. He said Montana is really good. There is some sore DOGS but We have no injury's and hope to be back at full strength next week. Collins is really good and there will be a big target on his back.
14. I am and would not  degrade a young man just stating a fact given to me. My best wishes are that if so trus that the situation can be cleared for the young mans future.
15. Rumor that was confirmed today to me by a Vidor insider says one of Vidors running back has been removed out of Vidor H.S.. The reason given to me was disciplinary due to verbal abuse. Mathews is pleading with school principal to reverse decision. I hope that this is not the case. Mytwocents may know more.
16. Nope shows our consistency lol. But to say something different the DOGS may be missing some players for next week because injuries a little worse then expected. Nothing in concrete yet hope the good Lord heals them fast.
17. Will be a great sight to see all that black and gold .Makes for an awesome pic.
18. Seen him and have the last 4 games he played in right here in front of me. Yes he does need some work on getting out of traffic. Vidor is a solid defense that is for sure but they have not played a team that trows the ball regularly. It will be their first test. This will not be out first test aginst a running team by far.
19. # 84 will need to work on that getting off the line a little better if that is who you are talking about mytwocents. He is tall but Angleton had that in # 9 and he was big tall and fast. #3 bothers me more he is sneaky. If our front four can control ya'lls front 6 then we have the players like Stampley ,Woods,Saye,Kimler Taylor and Barrows who will hit you in a blink of an eye. Remember to Stampley and Taylor did not play against ya'll last year. Stamp is 6'1" 220 like QM.
20. Exactly the Dogs return 8 starters on offense replacing 2 backs ,2 linemen everything else is  the same. Same argument we are a year wiser, bigger, faster and stronger like you say, but Carson is throwing more and better this year. Yes he had several picks last week but I give a lot of that credit to an outstanding Angleton team. The offense is more diversified than last year. Defenses are both loaded with a lot of experience but the question becomes if we load the box can Vidor pass enough. We shall see. GO DOGS!!
21. I don't think it about LC-M playing hard,it is about CS beating the heck out of them. CS is very physical and they bring the wood.
22. As pirate girl mentioned the 4th down pass play makes me ask this question. If 2 defenders could not stop that play on 4th down to save the win how will they be able to stop the pass attack this year? Raines more accurate, Kimler,Shaw, Barrows more experienced and multiple tight ends are going to make that even tougher.
