  1. Nederland has two Middle School teams moving up next year to ninth grade that should be very good. C.O.Wilson went undefeated for 2 straight years and were scored on twice as 7th graders and 0 as 8th graders. Then you had some great atheletes from Central Middle School and you should have a recipe for success.
  2. PN-G politics will dictate how well Coach Faircloth does. PN-G is a fickle place, they want success but only if thier kids are playing. The elite or connected people the whos who.The same happened with Malone but excuses were made to get him out because he did things his way . I hope the new coach has great success but I hope he has great strength and patience because he will need it.Coming from Odessa Permian he knows great tradition so no worries there. I think right now he has more to worry about than Big Ned, but watch out Nederland has some BAD TO THE BONE players heading in to make history!
  3. Well you know Lumberton had a chance and they backed out. C.O.Wilson was ready and Lumberton had plenty of places to practice but they chose not to. So they can not say they are champions of any form. I will say that I feel that C.O.Wilson would win for they have not been scored on yet this year and have only allowed 9 first downs in 5 games while averaging 39 points a game. But we will never know!
  4. not really a question of if c.o. wilson will win but by how much like lets say 50-0 but they will play hard as always. GO PUPS
  5. Alot of young talent throughout the district.Ned is young with 3 returning starters Savanah Demaris, Jbo and setter Holly Pryor. Pryor is coming off recrunstructive knee surgery but should be ready to go. PN-G has some young players also Meagan Sterling and Shelby M as hitters. Lc-M is going to be ok but the sleeper is Ozen big hitters.
  6. Coach Toni Leech of Nederland High School played for PN-G and they made playoffs and she then went to Lamar and set all sorts of records for Lamar
  7. I would have to say that C.O. Wilson 8th grade team will be tough to beat. They were undeafeated last year as 7th graders and they were only scored on twice. BC has had an all summer workout program as well as H F. Of course WOS is always full of atheletes with speed to spare. I would really have to say that C O Wilson will be a great team with a good depth at all postions and a big line up front .
