So why are you complaining or discussing it on this thread following last nights game. Start a new post if you do not want us Mid County people to recieve it that way.

Agree Coldspring is BAD A$$. Watched film on them they are fantastic and disciplined.

All this is in regards to refs has you have implied that the touchdown called back last night was directly related to the out come of the game some how. Is that what you are implying? I also realize that you are talking about a call years ago. Every team has them go for and against. We have had our far share of them both good and bad.

Calls come and go both ways.  As they say it is the way the ball falls. If you really feel that one call cost yall the game last night you need to come back to reality. It was against the complete second team defense with 3 players that were pulled up from jv. Think in my opinion that if the BAD DOGS would have stayed in 7 points would have been all yall would have gotten, I'm sure you saw what happened when they got put back in shut down. If your talking about a call years ago let it go. I can say the same a few years back when Worell Grogan touch the ball 3 first plays and scored touch downs of 74,68, and 81 but they called the 81 back for a mysterious hold.( Think ref felt sorry for LCM defense). So lets all look forward to the future and good luck to Hayden Reed in track as if he needs it lol.

NED will come out of District with little injury and have some players returning on both sides of the ball. GCM has improved but so has the DOGS. I see a 28-14 win by the Dogs. Pressure on the Goose quarterback will be of importance. Ned will have to defend the option that runs. We were alittle weak on that in preseason but we have improved. I know Brock will get to play them for the first time this year and is pumped to go. I hear it will be at Lamar at 7:30pm.

Best player by far is Tre Green without him Ozen got hammered. Montana is good but only in that offensive sheme not a passer. Defensive side  Nederland front line Corbib Carr, Brock Pryor, Samuel Castillo, Caleb Malveaux and Kolby Kuron. These guys have made working together something to watch but like I said Tre Green showed them why he is so valuable.

I know Brock won't play coaches told him today . I think it might be wise to let several of the starters who have some minor injuries to heal and let some future players play. Let some backups get more experience and so forth. Razor what is the difference between District Champs and undefeated District Champs, still District Champ without maybe one of your players getting hurt. Hey it is a new thing for Nederland not be fighting for a playoff spot like the last couple of years. So rest them and let back ups play and get valuable experience that may be needed in the playoffs.

I hope it is over after first quarter so some guys can heal up. I know Brock wants to play because he missed last week . I do think the team wants to be perfect in District and if they could go back and play BH with all the starters in the game they would in a heartbeat. Great drive in this group of young men.

Let's put it a different way. Both WOS and Barbers Hill have bugged out of preseason games against Nederland for next year. WOS only wants a controlled scrimmage. Galveston Ball is going to take their place. LOL good times!

Defense will be as good if not better next year. Losing 2 full time starters but you should see their replacements.

Nederlands offense showed tonight that it not always the defense who wins Championships. Nederlands Bad to the Bone defense was saved by the Big Dog offense! Yea Nederland defense may have been missing Brock Pryor and a few others with bumps and bruises but they played off tonight. Carson and all his Dogs showed up and put on a show. The old story holds true it is a team sport and the whole team played and made it happen. Congrats offense and lets get that defense back to good health. Keep on fighting DOGS. State is just around the corner. Focus on LC-M .

The thimg about football games have to be played and Ozen can play with anyone and beat anyone on any given night. I tell the boys stay focused on the task at hand . 1st DC, then 1st playoff win and go from there . But 1st things 1st beat Ozen and go for another shutout.

Jordan Woods of Nederland is a project All-Stae linbacker who can stop the run and cover on the pass. He is excellent sideline to sideline. He just has a really good Dline in front which helps even more. Just a solid consistent linebacker.

Zack Taylor Nederland. Most teams try not to even kick the ball close for fear he will bring it back!

Graydog you should know the facts befor you make a judgement call. Tanner didn't quit . He wanted to be in soccer period which is dif than football and Coach would not allow it. He is a really good soccer player who also can kick the football pretty good.

After watching the intensity of the players and coaches so far, I do not think they are going to overlook anyone. They have set thie sights on that outright DC. These kids want to win and they have the fire to do it.
