He is in the second stage application to West Point Academy . That is the biggest school so far. Several D@ and D3 schools. He has been to visit  TCU and  Oklahoma State wants him to walk on. So he is excited to say the least but todays focus is on th  Georgetown Eagles and Jake Hubenek.

  Ned will lose 6 on defense leaving 5 very solid players with  experienced backups  taking over. Only 4- 5 on offense since the one that got hurt and Brock took his place is a sophomore so really only qb, 2 receivers and one linemen. Solid core still there.

There are great teams in all Divisions in Texas. I would be nervous about playing Newton as they are on fire. Navasota is a really good  but WO-S turn the ball over 6 times, Can,t do that at the stage of playoffs or you will get whipped.

Brock was contacted by Coach Woodard from Lamar University and was offered a scholarship to play football. I just wanted to tell him how proud  his family is of him . I guess I am going to lose my truck. lol I loved that truck.

Nice crowd do they travel well? This game was  20 minutes down the road not 2 hours. Just asking we sold out today so that is 5000 tickets with a thousand at the gate  for walk ins.

I would bet you 100 bucks that Newton would lay 50 plus on Deweyville this year if not more. And that would be on Any Given Day of the week. Dew is ok but no    where near  Newtons level this year. Just Saying.

Lets PRAY that all the young men walk off in good shape! Lets just cheer them on and be proud of what they have accomplished!

;) Georgetown has a very good D1 qb going to TCU that is  for sure. The thing is he is not the first D1 qb we have face or the first D1 player we have played against. Ned has 4 D1 players on the front line alone from Texas A&m to West Point. Gt executes well and plays fast but it not something Ned has not seen before. These 2 teams will play their hearts out and leave it on the field. As a parent I am proud of what these DOGS have done and I have no doubt they can make it all the way. It will be a great game and I pray injury free.

If Franklins  defense is weak or sub par Newton will win big again. The films I have seen Franklin has trouble  run stopping. Long night if this hold true.Bring home the bacon Eagles. This Nederland Bulldog is cheering you on.

It is going to be a simple game. 1.If Ned front 4 stops GT Qb or at least makes him make  enough mistakes we win. 2. Dogs offense has to control clock and score we win. 3. Ned limits turnover or wins turnover battle. 4. Have a little luck> If any of these don't happen we may be home next weekend or if we succeed they may be home next weekend. Both teams are good at what they do and are well coached. The x factor in all this could be Tanner Noel. DOGS still by 3.

Brock was invited to play in the National Underclassman All American Bowl on 12/22/2012 in Myrtle Beach S.C.  One of hundred young men to make up 2 teams the North and South. He is excited but may not get to attend because that is the day Nederland hopes to play for a state CHAMPIONSHIP! Congrats.

If they are 5a then SC  is also 5a since your enrollment is more then theirs. Hey next year your 5a team can try to beat  some of 19- 4a teams but we see how far you made it this year. Better make it next year because y'all will be playing with the big boys 2014.

This game is much the same as the NED GT game. A really good offense against a really good defense. That is how these teams have made it this far. Rattlers execution is precise and well coached and WO-S defense will smother you and make you make mistakes if you can't slow them down. This will be a close game unless one teams turns the ball over to many times. I still say defense wins championships and WO-S has one heck of a defense and they win by 10.

Dawg how is the basketball team looking. Hope they are better coached and have a little more humility.

Dawg our defense is where we win games. Don't believe us ask PD and the other 12 teams we have beat also Angleton coach said Nederlands D we as good as he had seen in years. Looks like from game G town can be scored on but defense is where we excel. By the way Pearland o line and  d line out weighed us. They have a 305 average on o line (PD) and they got handled. G town is no where that big but they are more athletic. So it will be a good game with a high powered offense going a very stingy defense. DOGS by 3.

:D Trust me when I say these DOGS will be solely focused on GT. They see the task ahead in a high powered offense that will be the biggest test to date. After watching the GT game I do feel we can score and the defense has to play lights out to slow down GT. I also feel if we can slow the game down all around that helps us because GT likes a fast game. If we get them out of rhythm and keep them there it gives us a edge. Gt is a really solid team that has good coaching. They have had a few turnover also so if we can win that battle it will help the cause. All that being said THE DOGS with their GOAT will win or lose this game. Still say DOGS by 3.

Georgetown where do you live in Georgetown! I use to live there. Do not think GT as most of their fans  call them will score near that much. The GT offense is good but The Dog defense is really good. Big fast and have not had that many points score on them in over a year.

Prolific defense against prolific offense. Going to be a good one. Dogs by 3.
