1.
Wow I love the irony Pirates73.  Your signature says "its all about the kids" but you want WO-S to lose so that Hooks can hang his head low.
Not really surprised!  LOL
2. I agree COOP.  I think that we may have peaked too early in past seasons.  Maybe, just maybe, with all of injuries and stuff, we'll peak on time this year.  I would love to be making travel plans in the 3rd weekend of December (to see the Mustangs play).  I'll take a loss to a good Silsbee team in district play over a loss in any playoff game...at any time.   P.S.  I'll have to go for Kirbyville simply because they are our neighbors.  ;D
3. I'll take the Mustangs! We've had adversity all season and I think that we are on the right track.  Let's go Mustangs!
4. Way to go Mustangs on a good win!  Saw some good things and seems we're improving. Congrats to a Bobcat team that did not stop playing until the last second.  #7 is a beast.  Don't know what classification he is, but he's good.  I tell you, there were many times that even everyone in the stands did not know where the ball was until OF was down the field.  That behind the back thing was pretty cool too.  Let's go Mustangs!  We start all over from here.  Playoffs and Mustangs...gotta love 'em!!!
5. Just smile! I don't even look at my karma anymore.  In the span of one week, one of the "supporter/mods"  (or maybe more, who knows)...had hit that smite button like over 100 times.  It's just nice to know that you are on their minds enough to think about you!!!  LOL
6. I am proud of our boys, however our season goes, because we are so young and have had so many injuries.  I think we've done well considering and to think that we should just be that much better next year.  We'll be fine this year and next and the next and the next.  We'll be ok.  I realize that making it to the 3rd round isn't enough for some, but as long as our kids do the best that they can, I (for one) am satisfied.  No one wants to win more than these kids...so, go get 'em 'Stangs!!!
7. If we continue to score, then we are accused of running up the score.  A friend of mine from BC and I were talking the other day and she said her dad was commenting about WO-S and said that he didn't like Coach Hooks because he "runs up the score".  This late in the season, we need to be just working on what we need to work on, regardless of the score.  We are one game from the playoffs.  Hopefully, we are able to pull it all together and "peak" at the right time.  I, for one, will believe until it's all over.  Come on Mustangs...show everyone that your discipline and heart will get us where we need to be.  It would be nice, especially with all of our injuries!!!
8.
we have had a prayer before the game at least for the last two years. After Rita, Humberto, and Ike we would rather take our chances with the Supreme Court  than God !!!   ;)
LOL  Yes, indeed.  WO-S prays before and after each game.
9. Nice! (P.S. I don't really get the "it's against my 1st amendment rights" line of thought...) I've said it before, if these parents want to coach and think that they can do a better job than the REAL coaches...get your teaching degree, quit your current job and GO BE A COACH! That almost seems tooo simple!
10. I think that part of that problem has been that not too many teams have kicked it to our tracksters.
11. Mustangs win by at least ONE POINT!
12. 14, not 13. 15 for most other felonies. Well, funny that when I worked at TYC...we had of 13 and 14 year olds who were charged as adults from murder to rape. But, even at 15...
13. Then direct your anger at the media outlet, not this site. Its public knowledge and posting it or not posting in a thread is not going to make it any different. It is on this site and therefore my anger is directed on here and the media. The point is it shouldn't be public knowledge. I bet you would feel differently if it were nederland. If this site didn't have his name on here...duh, I wouldn't be directing my anger towards this site, sherlock.
14. That's not good enough. That's one of those old lawyer tricks where he makes a statement that is objected to and the judge orders the jury to disregard the statement. I'm not implying that you put his name out there...this is directed to whatever vulture felt the need to disclose his name.
15. Yes. And, don't just pray tonight. Everyday at noon, many have chosen to pray for this individual, his family and the Mustang family! And that is wrong. Not just because it was Silsbee...because he was a minor and the allegations. These kids' futures can potentially be turned upside down by allegations and persecutions by adults. I was one of the ones at bat for the Silsbee kids. Don't get me wrong, I am agreeing with you. I honestly didn't want anyone's name revealed, both in this case and the Silsbee case. I am just argueing the fact that these kids are minors. Bolton was a junior, 17 year old when the rape case came down, Franks is 17, all are what the law see's as not being a minor. They are considered adults now. I disagree. I believe that it depends on the charges. Just like a 13 year-old can be charged as an adult in the case of murder. There are no "charges".
16. Oh no, not for the real adults...just the minor whose name is plastered on FIVE pages of a thread. What's wrong with the world again?

18. No, we won't. I wish like all get out that we could reveal what we believe are the details as, based upon the version has been revealed to me, it is favorable to Trey. But as this appears to be headed to litigation, caution is paramount. No, you won't lock it. Just keep posting a MINOR's name and not the reason for the conflict of interest. The conflict of interest, as stated at the meeting, was because of a conflict of interest because school board member Mary Hardin is the high school principal's mother (Paul Hardin). We can drag the minor's name through four pages of posts, but can't post the reason stated at the meeting for a board member to abstain from voting that resulted in a tie. Please, help with the logic here? Explain to me how Franks is a MINOR? He is a senior in high school, therefore he is at least 17 years old, could be 18. Those are legal ages of an adult in the state of Texas. I honestly wished no names would have been brought out, but they did. Sure you do aaw... And, he is 17, not 18. I know that when my 17 year-old threatened to run away, the police stated that he had to be 18 to legally do it without me being able to file runaway charges. Hmmmmmm.......

Please, help with the logic here? I have no problem with you posting why Mrs. Hardin gave as the reason. But then when you go about revealing other potential witnesses and how they play into this, that is too far. Sorry, if you feel otherwise. Potential witnesses? You mean the person who has created this entire situation maliciously? Who happens to be an adult? Let's see...born in 1962...supposed to be an adult. Whatever?

21. Speaking of the freshman and the others that were brought up, I guess since they got their silver then they are there to stat? Not really sure. I've heard that it was just for this game, but I can't see the logic in giving kids their silvers for one game and them moving them back down. Had they just gotten moved up and kept their pearls, I would think maybe it was for one game. Like I said, I guess we'll just have to wait until next week. If they stay on varsity, JV will have to find another QB. I tell you, #17 seems to have something special and a good kid too.
22. Way to go Mustangs! Kudos to the freshmen who got to participate in their first varsity game! Way to represent. Now, we focus on BC. Let's go Mustangs!!! WO-S' not just a football team...we are family! That's what Mustang football is all about!
23. It's actually the parents who need to grow up. Karma is a beast though!
24. The information put out there about the Silsbee football players should have never been completely revealed until there were charges, or better yet...indictments. Anyone can accuse someone else of anything, but until there's proof, then it's not fair to the "accused" kids. Here the kids from Silsbee were drug through the mud and might have missed out on some scholarship opportunities (potentially) because a girl accused them of something that at least one grand jury (maybe two, I'm not sure) have dismissed. And for those who "know exactly what happened"...it is surely past your bedtime kid because the only ones who know "exactly what happened" are the kids involved.
25. Oooooohhh....classless... Silly rabbit!!
