Mustangs will be alright.  If this was our hiccup for the season, glad it was now and not later.  Defense did seem off last night, but they will be ready for Lorena.  These kids have done so well in focusing on one game at a time.  They are not worried about the 4th round.  We put a lot of effort into insuring that they stay focused on the here and now--on and off of the field.  Mustangs by at least 1 vs. Lorena.

And Skipper and TXdragon you are too. its a pleasure being football rivals  ;D [/quote] How ironic.  We feed our boys every Thursday night and discuss things that need to be discussed to prepare them for the upcoming game, college, etc.  Daniel Woodson is an awesome young man with a great family.  This senior class is a very close group.  Anyway, wishing you guys the best.  This was a very emotional/hard fought game, but it was a game that both teams needed going into playoffs.  Bring home that DI State Championship Title and we will do our best to bring that DII State Championship Title!

Luckily, our coaches and players do give their opponents respect and do not take them lightly.  Listen to Coach T in his interviews and that is what he instills in these kids before every game.  Sometimes our fans get a little "rowdy".

Jimmy should be the staying QB because besides some mistakes (imagine at this level), he had pretty good stats. Chase came in before the playoffs and he will be the QB of the future for sure. I can't think of a sport Chase doesn't excel at. He throws very hard...he will mature and improve. Good kids with amazing talent, but Salter doesn't receive his due credit.

Personally I don't believe many believe Blanchard is the best WO-S had to offer. Sorry.

No, you are not correct.  First, I don't wear red and I am not a sir.  There is a huge difference in a college/university being interested in a player and that player being expected to commit.  Do not get me wrong, I appreciate your wanting to get good news out about our players, but it would be nice to get facts like this kid or that kid is expected to verbally commit unless you know for a fact that that is true.  I know for a fact that SMU has not made an official offer to either of them.  Not saying that they will not because I hope and expect that the 2013 class of Mustangs will set a record for scholarships offered/accepted.

Let me say first of all...I am one proud Mustang supporter!  You guys gave it your all, mistakes and all.  You represented what 112% is all about.  CS:  Congrats on a very well executed game.  You were the better team tonight.  As for our "fans" on this forum & that attend 3/4 of the games... trust me, you do not represent those of us who truly love our Mustangs & do not give them a portion of our spirit.  This team is a very special group of young men who most of these followers, not fans, were not expected to make it this far. So, I will leave it and say "Yes Coldspring, even the FANS (not followers) support you on your run at a state title".  You were very classy & as was previously mentioned...the mutual respect during the handshakes would be seen from the stands! Thank you because you obviously know how to win with class!
