Wilson found himself in a great situation in Seattle. An established deffense and tremendous OLine and running game with an OC that understood how to win and groom his young QB for future success at the same time. The Perfect Storm for a young smart QB thats relentless in his own development. Cleveland...eh!!! NotSoMuch. Johnny Boys in trouble.

So if Seattle wins tonight over Arizona, and wins next week as well and the Boys stay hot on the road and beat Wash., the Cowboys get a first round bye and possibly home field. Go Hawks!!!!

No Craig. I think the issue at LU has been that several of the transfers were "problems" at the FBS school and got to Lamar and hadn't learned a thing from their FBS experience (being kicked off the team), but several have done quite well like Mark Roberts.

Great. Especially for those D1 kids that RS then graduated in four years and have an extra year of eligibility, but didn't get the PT they had hoped for. Dustin Long graduated from A&M then spent extra year at SHSU and had a great year for himself and SHSU. I would argue that he helped jumpstart the program's current 10 year run and reputation as a FCS powerhouse program.

Umm Houston is in playoff contention. If Browns closed out that game Sunday Houston could be in a tie for the division with a W this Sunday. And sad to say cause I respect the hell outta him as an Athlete and a person, but Dre is no longer the best player on the Texans. Hes not even the best receiver. Its been a bad year for him with a bunch of fumbles and dropped passes. Hopkins is clearly the #1 WR now. And Foster and JJ are now the best Houston players. I still think you gotta wait a few years on Clowney. Folks poo-pooed on Mario over Vince and Reggie after year one, but who would you rather have now outta the three. Mario is legit, Reggie is good, Vince is a pizza delivery guy.

After the Big 12 debacle with the playoffs, I dont see many more top tier programs will be scheduling the FCS teams anymore. Baylors OOC schedule killed rheir chances against OSU. Even OSUs loss to VT was better than an Baylor beatdown of LU, NW State or Liberty. I expect Going forward that the ULL and ULMs will get more games agsinst power 5 conference teams. And Lamar will have to flood the schedule with other FCS teams, but I think that would be a good thing. 12-13 games against FCS opponents.

Think about it for a second. Who probably benefits most financially from a Big XII Championship? ESPN/ABC. So stuffing the Big XII and forcing its hand to have a championship game to "get in" is not too far fetched.

After an 8-4 season including a loss to A&M, I say three years is about right. If he can win two more games a year then the Cards are in the playoffs and maybe even hosting.

I'm getting tired of hearing about not having a Big 12 Championship game. There was a Big 12 Championship Game. It was played on October 11th and Baylor won 61-58 PERIOD. The best two teams in the conference played. Alabama and Missouri played in the SEC title...not the top two teams in the conference. OSU and Wisconsin in Big 10 title game...Not the top two teams in the conference.

If OSU gets the nod, it was about ratings. They lost at home to a 6-6 VTech team. Nuff said. Im more of a TCU fan, but fact is Baylor got the H2H. Baylor should be in. Just dont see the committee saying we were wrong last week.

Can't see the committee saying they were wrong about TCU a week later and after a 55-3 stomping. This folks is why we dont need a weekly playoff ranking. Just vote at the end and give it to us. If they did that and it was OSU over TCU or Baylor then oh well, but know a precedent hasxbeen set with TCU at #3 last week.

I say they should just try and find a QB that fits the pro-style they are installing. As well as some road graders up front. I would think that theyd be able to bring in one of the top pro-style QBs in the country with the auspice that he would be a top draft pick after a few years under Watson and leading UT back into national prominence.
