I heard the name Gandy that was at beckville. I don’t know what his position was there.

I’m hearing it might be someone from Kirbyville, Newton, or a former coach from beckville. Just a guess on what I was told.

How’d the last BIG NAME guy they hired work out? Good thing they had Coach T to clean that mess up. It will be interesting who they hire. The clock is ticking.

Nothing against the kids or coaches, but these successful jh teams get into high school and have to fight to finish 4th in district. 3rd if they’re fortunate. Sure beats 5th!

Kudos to Coach Terrier for stepping in and doing a great job for Buna when the other guy was released and continuing on as AD and Head Baseball Coach.

Whitmire is an excellent coach from what I’ve witnessed from outside the lines. He seems to get kids to play far and beyond their capabilities. Having watched Remi when he was in high school in various sports, he gave his all and then some. His work ethic and pursuit of excellence will carry him far. His future is extremely bright.

I’m just speaking in general terms here and not for or against any school or coach. It sure helps when one has good players. As long as the wins keep rolling in, all is well. Look out of the losses pile up.
