Just saying Newton is far superior in all aspects of the game than a good number of teams they play. Not being disrespectful to their opponents, but it’s difficult when the talent pool, not to mention the tradition there in Newton can’t be matched.

Probably be about the same next week against Trinity.

Not difficult to do against a lesser opponent.

Cougars are going to have to run the table to secure a playoff spot.

Congrats on turning it around and putting another tally in the ‘W’ column.

It was a good way to start district play with a win, but Buna hasn’t beaten any team of note this season, and going up against Kirbyville Friday is going to be extremely difficult to come out on top. OF and Anahuac should be a good one. Getting a win against the bobcats at home will be a tall task. I’m looking forward to see how this one plays out. Good Luck to both teams.

Unless Kirbyville has a huge letdown after a big win over EC, they’ll roll in this one.

The closest this one will be is at the kickoff 0-0.

Looks like it’s the same as in years past. Usually 2 or 3 teams filling three playoff positions, with a couple more playing for that 4th spot. It will be interesting to see how it plays out.

How does everyone see this district playing out? Anahuac and East Chambers are always at the top. Kirbyville is having a good season. Orangefield and Buna seem to be on equal footing. Could Tarkington and Hardin pull off an upset or two? The schedule is fixing to get alot tougher.

The Exporters do have a cool fight song. Too bad for them it won’t be played much Friday night.
