what do you mean chance??  They are the heavy favorites,  after all like we have heard so many times they have 3 state titles and we have none.  How can we compete against that??

defense is the weakness of both teams.  BC may have the edge because of time of possession but if my Tigers can get a few stops early and build a lead it will be tough for BC.  You r talking about a Tiger team who is 4 pts from only having the loss to WOS.  So the records don't mean a lot in my mind for this one.

This this one is tough to call.  The Tigers came out distracted against Huffman early and it cost them.  We need to start strong in this one and not let up.  BC's ground game is definitely playing into the Tigers weakness,  stopping the running game and keeping the Tigers defense on the field.  That coupled with the Tigers quick strike offense is a problem the Tigers will have to overcome.  The Tigers should have the speed advantage but need some good time eating possessions as well.  Should be a fun game to watch.

It's great to be playing for something late in the season. Our secondary is going to have to get tough or it's going to be a long night. The team that takes care of the ball will win Friday. Good luck!

I would not even come close to taking the basket as  offensive on its own.  However by reading the comments, if they are truthful,  there is one by a student of summer creek who stated they were told at the presentation "we got you watermelon",  that coupled with events at past games where signs saying things like "who's your momma"and "where's your real hair" are why the stance was taken.

I would have to put the Tigers receivers up there with any group in the area.  WOS right there as well based on the game against us.  Dontre has to be right up there as far as dual threats as well.  I don't know about the media as I rarely watch the news.  As far as the Tigers being the best team in the area,  WOS proved that wrong.  The Tigers will not be the best until we can play defense,  part of that will have to come from time of possession.

Big Sandy would be my top pick.  I don't know enough about some of the other teams in this 5a region but Central has a strong nucleus coming back.   So they might be a strong puck as well.  As for my Tigers,  high expectations but some good teams out there. If we can hit some of those outside shots this year,  I say we make it. As for Kountze,  I am not sure,  unless they have more than the six or seven players they had last year it will be another tough road.

yes the Tigers got an unsportsmanlike penalty to end any doubt about running no the clock out but there was only 40.7 seconds left and Huffman had a 3rd and long Tigers had no timeouts left so clock would have run out after that third down play.
