I visited Groves, TX.  I was there doing the big flood. I was treated real nice and I remember staying at  a shelter that was near a post office. Even though I was from another State they gave me rest. I saw a lot of people showing compassion. I felt a connection since that day. Learned a lot about high school football. I’m sorry, but you guys high school football is like a college game day.  I saw a clip of MId County Madness, Dogs vs Indians on YouTube. I only see that type of crowd and excitement when I go to College football games or State Championship,  I really enjoy the people.
I have never met Stevenash, but we bump heads a lot. He’s a good person and as a side note he gave me sound advice on my TSP retirement nest egg. The guy is real smart and knows numbers. I never met  Mr. Hagar, but I can tell you he loves his grandkids and he’s active in going to all of his kids games. I enjoy the young man Lumbertonraider because he speaks from the heart. Bad dog is good at heart. Smash mouth won’t back down right or wrong. They all bring something to the table. The fun part about this message board is that we can all agree to disagree. If your skin is tough you will hang around. This political forum is also mostly Republican. My point we are (I) May never meet any of you in person but it’s been real.

I thought you were kidding... PAT is Port Arthur, Texas.  That's what city buses had down their side in big letters "PAT" for Port Arthur Transit.  Then it got all famous in that Jay-z song.
The posters on the board are real heavily conservative so sometimes it feels like Big Girl, Kountzer, and the rest are kinda getting ganged up on a little bit, lol.

2 of the cops were rookies.  One Only on his 4th day and asked to roll Floyd over multiple times.

So I agree and disagree at the same time. Let’s talk about the disagree part, and maybe we can educate and understand more. Why do you think Floyd’s death was a racist action? Could it just have been a $ hithead power hungry cop that didn’t know when to stop?

I never much considered racism up until now. I thought it was a vigilante trying to take the law into his own hands.
I loon at these things in black and white and I am not taking about race. I read and teach the law and frequently read laws from other states. I try to avoid the emotional side and simple ask, what evidence do we know about and then compare that to the law. Every time new information is released, I reevaluate my opinion.
On another forum I posted on l before this one, I called it Murder based on what I read and saw and on reading GA law.  That was before any arrests were made.  That was subject to change with new information. All of the new information kept my original opinion in place.

I have never heard of using a knee to the head or neck as a means of controlling a person. I am not saying in a fight you won’t use any means available up to deadly force if necessary but as a trained technique of control, I have never heard of it and in my 37th year.

Your opinion means nothing when you can’t even admit that there’s a black on black crime problem in Port Arthur that’s a way bigger detriment to the black community than a bad cop in Minnesota. That’s just some more of that, what did you call it...” people on this board looking for anything and I mean anything to not have to deal with the truth.”
You see, I was born in Port Arthur. My family was in Port Arthur for almost a hundred years. The last of us left around 2000. We really like what y’all have done with the place.

Chauvin’s actions are a contributor to his death, that’s what I’m saying...can’t make it much plainer.

The fact is that he was restrained in hand restraints, first aid was not rendered, he was not combative with two officer’s  having him pinned down by his lower extremities and one on his neck. Once the cuffs are on and you are flat on your stomach you are no longer a threat. Leg restraints could have been applied to place him in the vehicle. One Officer did suggest rolling him on his side.
Four minutes without oxygen is a long time.

So you think he would have most likely died on the scene without Chauvin helping out?
I guess I could say why even video a murder if no one is going to believe it.

Couldn’t disagree more with your statements in bold, but we’ll just have to agree to disagree. If not for Chauvin‘s actions, Floyd would still be alive...can’t prove that at all but believe it 100%.

Your true feelings about the black community have been obvious from the start. I've heard of being on the fence... but you've got one foot firmly on each side and I doubt its hurting your manhood.

So was the cop responsible for anything? Does the badge excuse his reckless behavior? First and foremost his job is to PROTECT and serve.
Did you know big floyd? Cocaine in his system? Have you found any evidence of that one yet? Or has your blinded hate compelled you to jump to conclusions about the type of person he was? There's more division inside yourself than you are trying to push upon the rest of us. Some of us can see thru it.

It was as contradictory as the quoted post is.  The initial ME was as hacky as one might expect from a play doctor.  Albeit one who had the full benefit of a physical exam that the real doctor did not.   If you didn’t find anything of merit in Baden’s, methinks you are rooting for a certain outcome that is contrary to what you claim.

It appeared some of you were really excited the Hennipan County Medical Examiner’s preliminary findings seemed to support a cause of death other than the officer’s excessive force.   What many of you probably don’t know is often times a county coroner is not even a medical doctor.  What I can tell you is this - doctor or not, whatever hump is the medical examiner in this Minnesota county, his qualifications and expertise will assuredly pale in comparison to Dr. Michael Baden, one of the independent ME’s in this case.  He is one of, if not THE most respected in the world in this field.  Sorry if anyone’s bubble was bursted.

No doubt the media has an agenda when it comes to these cases.  I’m simply taking this case and looking at it by itself.  That others use these cases as an opportunity to divide and riot is pathetic.
