In the late 90’s Coach Hand took a very young Huntington team to Woodville who was state ranked. He spread the floor the entire first half. Woodville never came out to challenge the ball and Huntington won that game 5-3. The best and worst coaching jobs I ever heard of and they were both the same game. You do what you gotta do.

I don’t know much about what they have walking halls but I know Coach Hand and Coach Carter won a lot of games up there when they showed up

Yes times are a lil different with the pandemic and people losing jobs. But kids and home life has been going on for a long time.
has to have consequences in order to learn. I believe in 2nd chances maybe even 3 if a player has a bad home life and has no structure or father figure.  But if he keeps making same mistake over and over and hurts his team. He himself is not willing to make a change ….sorry buddy but your done.

Very true. HJ did a good of fronting the big kid in the post which made it harder for him to get the entry pass. They also were very successful with a little trap in the 4th quarter. Bottom line for HF to be successful #5 has to touch the basketball. If I were on the Horns sideline I’d make sure he touched it every trip down the floor. Kid is strong as a bull and doesn’t shy away from game 

Sometimes defensive adjustments will change course of the game. What works first half might not work the second half. 

With missing players with injuries and COVID not only does it  effect your numbers, you can’t get a rotation flow. Messes up the chemistry. Not knowing who is available to play has to be a nightmare.  Kids having to accept different roles…..

Yep. He played the 2 Saturday mostly. Buried a couple threes first two shots…His emotions  wants to get the best of him sometimes but that should get better

We all knew it was over early once the schedule came out.  

Last night New Mexico State lost to Sam and Grand Canyon lost to SFA both by 25 points. Same score, same night and both games were at a Johnson Coliseum. GC and NMS were leading the league at 6-0 in conference play. 

Everyone gets back healthy they will be competitive. 

Livingston is flying under the radar this year
