Dang we are getting Art Briles?

People on the neighborhood watch are typically people who do not care about sports. They care about minding the gap at DQ. What just blew up and whose dogs are out running around. I would estimate we have roughly 5,000 fans show up to the game on Friday nights. Ten to fifteen percent of those leave after half time. Some are students and others are just there to socialize. I would say out of those 5,000 maybe 500 care enough to even know who all the coaches are. Now take that number and look at how many of those have a friend on the board or in admin. Then you see that there is a very small group that actually cares enough about football, the team moving forward and don't have a tie in that could cause grief by making a post and you have your answer why there is nothing on Facebook yet. I have heard so much speculation but nobody has the balls to post what is really going on. After the fact is too late to start spilling the truth. So here is a running list of the rumors I have heard. 1. His defensive coaches don't like him because he steals all the talent for offense. 2. The old guard group don't like him because he didn't hire PN-G guys when he first came in and treated some of the older guys with no respect. 3. He doesn't play board members kids enough. 4. Admin don't like him because he asks for too much. 5. He plays favorites and allows the better players to slide and makes examples of the lesser players. (This is a PNGISD problem) If your parents are tied in with the right friends your kids don't go to ISS or get reprimanded for the same issues other students do. 6. He voted for Joe Biden. (I don't know that but I might as well add my own stupid rumor)

Likely something along the lines that led to us having 20 cheerleaders and everyone makes NDNettes. Parents are soft. Kids are soft. If they are not good enough parents complain. Post on Facebook and get the PN rumor mill flowing. Before too long we will have STJFL rules where every kid gets at least 10 plays.

He is talented but also has so much personal baggage I am not sure he will ever truly succeed to his potential.

If Crosby can keep the pressure from the TH defense under check they will roll in this one. PN-G struggled to keep them out of our backfield and it made for a long night. With a little more time I think we could have been much more productive on offense. TH is good at pinning their ears back and going. Having to play assignment and contain football against the Crosby offense will be the decider. On offense TH had one play that was successful and that was the counter run. Outside of that I didn't see anything that made them standout.

My brain is a little fuzzy from all the Tecmo Bowl I have been playing lately, but I am pretty sure there is a post out there where you said PN-G would not make the playoffs going into the last week of the season.

Since you are going to reply here and PM me, you made a specific statement that board members wanted Faircloth gone because of their kids playing time when everybody in Port Neches and Groves knows there are only two board members with kids playing. So you are the one that put that target on their backs unfairly sharing that information plus made them look petty in the process. Like I said in the PM. Be better. I am certain those two love that you posted that on a public forum for all to read. So keep digging your hole by repeating how the board members really feel. I am 100 percent for sure they don't want you speaking for them on this message board. I didn't have to insult your intelligence when you did it yourself considering you got your information from "some kin that may have lunch on occasion" per your DM which I can post here if you like as well.

Let's see here. Scott Bartlett - Son in 8th grade and son in 7th grade. Brandon Cropper - Son in 9th grade and son in 6th grade. Dustin Marsh - No kids in high school or even close to high school yet. Dallon James - Very young kids. Eric Sullivan - Has had sons play and be very successful for Faircloth. I am not sure how much his senior plays but I know Eric and he is not going to push for a coach to be fired because his son is not a kid getting the most playing time. Jake Lefort- His son is on varsity and is a senior and he plays. Lana Parker- Her youngest is over 40. I am sure she isn't riding the pine at PN-G. I personally know every person on the board except Dallon. Please don't pass along rumors that could be harmful when you have no idea if there is truth in them.

Biggest thing about teams like Vidor is that they have to play clean football. A holding penalty setting you back can really throw off the move the chains 4 or 5 yards at a time offense. Sure there will be a big plays but I think PN-G will get a few stops. The offense is really clicking right now so that side should be good.

I have been on here since this board was the smack attack board. If you can't give or take a little good spirited rubbing then you are the problem. It is not about being "trashy" or a keyboard commando. It is about talking sports and not taking ourselves so damn serious as message board coaches or legends from long ago in our own minds. I have played flag football games with this group back when we would play Orange County vs Jefferson County posters. Bringing in the groups from west of the Trinity brought in a whole other level of sensitive whiners and know it all sports gurus. Most on here bring a good analysis and topics for discussion. If you can't do that as well as take a little trash talk in fun then you are in the wrong place and need to stay on the ant mound patting each other on the backs about how don't stoop to such low levels as engaging the fans from the east. And I hope Nederland whips y'alls snobby, whiny butts this Friday.

Anytime a BH fan decides to step into a PN-G vs Crosby thread and try to take some shots I am going to give it back. It is all in fun. I didn't call out his momma or anything like that. Just their overpaid / underperforming coaches.
