Sadly this team is done. Faircloth will continue to ignore the defense as long as his QB's are putting up big numbers. I really like Faircloth but it is just silly to not be even a tad competitive on defense. Texas City threw the ball one freaking time and we still could not get lined up to stop the run.

Congrats on the Super Bowl win. It was a well played game on both sides. Clean game.

#16 is a sophomore and he came in at LB and was delivering some blows. #8 is all heart. He is going to play his butt off every play. There is no reason we cant run a 4-2-5

#7 needs to play both ways. Nederland has a kid do it every year. #18 was a 1st team all district player last year and plays about 50% of the offensive snaps. He is big and athletic. There is no reason why he cant get some time at LB or DE. No offense to the kids playing on the D line but we have 2 kids over 200 pounds on defense and they expect 3 DL to take on 5 OL.

I coached junior this year. Nederland Black had the mouthiest coaches by far. Nederland White has a huge team stacked with returning players from the previous year. PA Red had the most speed but was the dirtiest team we played. PA Black was all around great. Coaches were great. They kicked our a$$es with grace and never taunted or played dirty. I am not sure who won in Junior this past weekend but I would like to see a Ned White vs PA Black rematch.

This board has been this way for years and if you need to take it personal go lock yourself in a safe place until the season is over. How did my comment try to create an argument? I made a single statement asking where they would be coaching all in fun just like all the other posts on this board. If you are not the coach why are you taking it so personal?

You are correct on many levels but if the coaches can't come on here and take a little smack talk between rivals then they need to stay off the site.

It is beyond maddening to watch us get pushed around upfront and never adjust. When you play a 3 man front you better have down lineman that can eat up some blocks for your linebackers to make plays. Instead all of them struggle to win one on ones and we get gouged.

I wonder when Mr. Nelson will figure out that running a 3 down lineman defense against 5 o-lineman, a lead blocking back and a running QB doesn't work? BH knew exactly what our weakness was and game planned for it. We came in running the same crap. No adjustments. No film watching from what it seems. Just lineup and get ran over week after week.

PN-G Pre-K 47 Dayton Pre-K 15. The kicker from a few years back at Dayton has a 4 year old that is legit. 5/5 this game.

The last flag was no later than the one called on our #7 for offensive PI when he had already caught the ball and been tackled before the ref threw the flag. Can anyone really sit here and say our # 23 wasn't interfered with? He was knocked to the ground with the ball in the air before it even got to him. What about the non call two plays before that when #1 was bear hugging #10 in the end zone on the back shoulder throw? The officials really tried to make the game about them but in the end it was another hard fought game. Also the RB from Nederland is the most impressive player I have seen this year.
