I have no doubt on that. But he was recruited as a QB and volunteered to play RB and will now likely find himself playing at the next level. So to say he was being recruited out of high school as a RB was not correct.

I look for Barrow to pull one out of Neumann's playbook and put his best athlete at QB. Run a lot of zone reads and QB keepers. I can't remember the kid that they did that with years back but it was the difference in the game that year.

I am a little lost on the QB/WR play. These guys thrived in 7 on 7. Yeah pads and all that but teams are loading up the box and daring us to beat them in one on ones. That is no different than 7 on 7 for the most part.

I could be wrong but I don't think PN-G does unless they make the playoffs.

Defense looked much better than I expected. #24 had a rough night but #2 was a bright spot in the secondary. He was all over the field. Offense needs some work. Crippen has a lot of arm talent but his WR's struggled to get open. Most of the passes he threw was into tight coverage. The offense was very bland though. We ran about 6 different plays that I could see. Over and over. I know it is by design but it looked like the first week of two a days on the offensive side.

I am not buying any hype. But the 40 plus points a game was a bit of a stretch and I get it since you are a Faircloth hater. We will get out athleted and scores ran up but lets not act like since he has been here his offense hasn't been plug and play. In his 12 years at PN-G his team has only given up more than 40 points in a game more than twice in a season on 3 occasions. (2010 (4 times), 2012 (3 times) and 2020 (3 times). While the offense averages 5.5 games a year over 40 points. So while you might fail at simple math I won't dispute your pick as the 4 seed. Just have to wait and see.
