I stayed with my company at a "lesser" position that I had before I became an asst. manager.  I could have taken a severance package and filed for unemployment, but I don't want to depend on the government to pay my bills when I am fully able to do so. 

The company I work for eliminated my position in May, I took a large pay cut to make sure I still had a job. 

And there were eye witnesses that said they did see a struggle.

I'm sure they did, the main point of the article was if you stop extending unemployment checks to unemployed people it forces them to actually find a job.    You'll see in the article the left tried to extend benefits, it didn't pass - thus the unemployed had to find jobs or have no money.     Why so defensive?  ;)

That's false.  When I was a bank teller, we had a customer who made TRIPLE what I made from govt. direct deposits. She drove a 2011 Tahoe with rims.

What makes them the best?  Wins? State Championships? Gradutating %?

Even if they make it 4 teams the "inner city" schools are going to go to the playoffs still, what would that matter to them?
