UGA is just in another world this year. We won't know until December if they're the best team in the country, but that defense is unreal. I follow Arkansas (along with Nebraska) and have for years and I love what Pittman is building there. Ole Miss will be ready to play and this game will be decided by the Razorbacks on defense. Looking forward to it...

Jasper's a dreadful offensive team until proven otherwise. However, the Bulldogs are good enough defensively to win games if the offense shows up AT ALL.

It never rains in Southern California. They don't know what to do. LOL

The Bulldogs have traditionally been undisciplined, to be honest. I don't remember many seasons that we played clean football, but we've always had enough talent to overcome those mistakes. We're really good when everything comes together (2018 for example)...but when the talent isn't there and you make too many mistakes, you get a team like this one. I'm sure the coaches harp on all of this, but how coachable are the kids? It's on everybody.

I don't know what his contract status is, but in this day and age a season like this will have people calling for a change. If I were coaching, those kids would be doing bear crawls and stadium steps until I got tired of watching them. (Probably why I'm not coaching...lol)

We're not gonna win much if the coaching staff doesn't get the offense figured out. We haven't consistently struggled like this in years. Gotta give the Bears credit, though. They're playing very well.

'85 was a bad year for us. Great defense, but we couldn't score on most teams for anything. This year is kinda starting out like that.

I think we'll shake off some rust this week and get back in the win column, but it will be a good game.

I realize that, but I think it's the same answer either way. We'll still finish second even though we're not as strong overall as usual.

I think our defense will play them better than most teams, but our offense is going to have to get a lot better to be able to score on them. That's shaping up to be a long night...

It's sad that with all of this technology, we can't get better info than we used to. I'll never understand it.

I think you're right. Our kids get too emotional and they need to figure out how to be poised. Those 15-yard penalties are very costly, especially the last one on our touchdown that gave you guys that good field position. There's a lot to like about our team, but you can't have that stuff.

That defense is something else, but you're right. Carthage probably won't blow us out, but if we can't score it doesn't matter. There's a lot to clean up.

Most of us are good sports and very respectful of other schools. We've never had a huge following on here for some reason. I'm not sure why that is, but we have good fans on here.

I'd be okay with us playing Timpson, but I think we have LCM next week.

It'll be interesting to see who's grilling the crow on Saturday and who's eating it.

That was Montavien Hunt. I think he ran for 370 or so. He was a junior and he got hurt late in that season. He split carries with Carl Limbrick after that and I believe he was a corner on defense. We never really saw the same burst from him again, but that was a heck of a night for him.

It's taken me a while to get into this season, to be honest, but here I am. It's harder to listen to/watch the games than it ever has been. You guys in Orange have professional, seasoned broadcasters and we don't. I'll leave it at that. Anyway, Dirty is all over it. We're very young and the offense is different (we run out of the spread), so losing games early wasn't good for us. There's a ton of speed everywhere as usual and the defense looked pretty solid in the games we played against PN-G and H-J. I think this will be a close game that could be decided by the kicking game, but I'll take Jasper 27-23.

I'm nervous for everyone down there, too. The center has relocated to the north of where the hurricane center thought it was and it's strengthening. It's gonna rain like crazy, which is what bothers me the most for y'all.
