Silsbee is a horrible match up for Lumberton. Lumberton has a bunch of tiny, barely athletic point guards. That's a recipe for disaster against a team like Silsbee. I don't think most of them were much taller than Braylon. I watched one of their kids have a wide open layup off a pass get called for traveling cause he did a pump fake when there was nobody there. They were shell shocked most the game. I'd like to see Thomas develop a better offensive game than jacking up 3s. Wouldn't hurt for him to attack the basket more. K`drian had a good game. Nice to see him dunking pretty consistently in warm ups with one hand now. The Tigers did look more fired up and played better team ball this game. Hope that continues. Coach Sigler was more up and vocal this game in his coaching. He's usually pretty quiet and reserved during games.

Should be highlights of this one tonight on, I think, Channel 12. I think that was Lance Edwards I saw at the game tonight.

Outside of one or two kids, Lumberton is tiny. Landon was killing them on the inside. It looks like men playing boys out here.

They really can't. If it weren't for the bench playing, Silsbee would have 100 at halftime.

Freshman. Silsbee - 67 Lumberton - 33 Tigers again with only 6 players. Looks like JV has 9 playing tonight. Just gonna assume this is because of grades.

Jordan has tried twice to get a windmill off in a game. Got hung on the rim one time against Center. Had the ball slip out of his hands last Tuesday against LCM. One day it'll happen.

Well that would explain it. Knew something didn't seem right.

According to Max Preps, Silsbee lost to Lumberton in 2013. The score was 68 - 65. Back when I was in school, if Lumberton ever beat Silsbee in basketball, I don't think the team or coaches would be allowed back in town. I remember some "interesting things" said to Silsbee players during road trips to L-town back in the day, but it's best to leave that can of worms closed. Silsbee ended up having a decent season that year. They lost to Yates in the playoffs to end their season.

Seems like Lumberton has a respectable squad. Might not be quite as easy of a game as some think.
