Looks like only 8 are on JV tonight.

Silsbee only has 6 kids playing the freshman game tonight.

I really enjoy going early to see the FR an JV teams play. Coach Brooks has had the JV team playing some shutdown defense these past few weeks. Hope they keep getting better.

Silsbee needs to have a great communications program one day.

What region is Kennedale in? I would assume region 2 given their location, but you never really know. That's another good looking team. Gave College Station their only loss of the season so far. 4A this year is looking really strong overall.

Pretty nice shot by Jordan there. Might could have used him on the football field this past year. Hardin Jefferson fans shouldn't worry. You'll get a chance to beat us at the Tiger den in a few weeks Silsbee has lost a few games here and there arguably due to bad officiating in the past, so you'll get no sympathy from us. Sorry.

Missed practice. Hope it was because of something unexpected at the last minute happening and not because of maturity issues.

Well I think it's good to have a team or two to keep Silsbee on their toes in district. Beating up on cream puffs does us no good.

So.....can we be a rivalry again now?

Hope Devon had a good reason for missing practice.

Remember both Devon and Jordan shot up to 6'4 + during one year. They've got two kids on JV that can dunk now. Maybe they can grow a few inches this off season. JV team has two.....um....beefy kids playing down low now. Maybe they can grow vertically a little also.

Devon supposedly has a hurt hand and has been playing games with it. Not sure exactly what it is. Can't be anything major.

Thought Hardin Jefferson was suppose to have a pretty good team this year. I'll take Silsbee by around 15.

All I really know about Yates is Rubin Jones is still there and likely their best player. Him and Braylon played together on the same team this summer on, I think, the Houston Defenders.

Yeah...they may as well move him to varsity. HF actually had a chance to take the lead in the 4th quarter, but Silsbee finally pulled away. Don't get why their varsity team didn't give their big kid more playing time. I would have put him in the paint and at least tried to stop the Tiger layup drill. Kid looked to be about 6`6 or a little more.

So I guess our Yates posters still haven't came back after last year lol.

Unless something happened after I left in the 4th, the dunk count was 0 - 0. I guess HF can consider that some sort of victory.
