Gonna sting even more if Longview takes a loss tonight, which they are down now. It's real simple. Teach these kids to tackle properly. If they can't do that, they can go sit down and be replaced by someone else who will. No excuses.

I see Giddings lost to Smithville 41 - 14 earlier in the year. They had better improved since then.

Silsbee should have this. Smithville hasn't played anybody impressive this year for me to be too worried. The only way the Tigers lose is if our pass defense is terrible.

Yates was fairly down the first year Silsbee beat them. They ain't always that stacked.

I can tell you last year all playoff games were live. No delays in showing any game. I would assume it's the same this year, but don't know that with 100 percent certainty.

Hamshire Fannett had a good freshman class last year. Played Silsbee pretty close in both games.

Silsbee's pass defense had better improved since Spring Hill.

This game will be over by halftime if not sooner. The only hope Lumberton has is very long drives that eat up the clock and Carthage coming in to this game a little too cocky. They ain't unbeatable though. La Vaga beat them down pretty good a few years ago.

If we stay within 15 - 20 points, I'll be happy. Anything close to 10 points and I'll be surprised. This shouldn't be a good game, really. Looking for one of our new point guards to make some noise.

Looking at the stats for this game, the only battle Silsbee really lost was rebounds. Got out rebounded by 12. I guess that was to be expect given La Marque's size. We did have more assist and steals, so I guess that's something. Man I hope it doesn't get too ugly this Friday. May need Bray to go all Wilt Chamberlain for us and score 100 😅

Looks like LaMarque has a lot of kids with good size if their listed roster is to be believed. This one could be a challenge.
